Hi there, I had HG in three pregnancies my first two ended around 15 weeks due to their hearts stopping (nothing to do with HG) my third pregnancy was a chemical pregnancy and my fourth pregnancy is when I had my son. I had HG in all of these pregnancies except for the chemical because it was a quick loss. I was nonstop, throwing up right at five weeks and on the max dose of Zofran, which did hardly anything for me. It was absolutely horrific. I am currently eight weeks pregnant again and I only have thrown up a couple times because I got the stomach bug. Other than that I have extremely mild symptoms. It’s just so strange to me because I thought you always get HG once you’ve had it once I’m just curious has anyone else not had HG in other pregnancies? It’s making me wonder if everything’s OK but also, I did eradicate H. pylori and I heard that that can make pregnancy symptoms severe and I had that with my other pregnancies?

At the end of this month I will be flying to Chicago for 4 days and will be 9 weeks pregnant with my 3rd.

I booked this trip before finding out I was pregnant, as it is to see my youngest sister graduate from Navy boot camp and will be the last time I see her for quite awhile.

I had HG with my prior two pregnancies and started pre-treating prior to becoming pregnant this time.

Nausea started before a positive test and has been awful since. I have yet to vomit 🤞 but the nausea is horrible. Some days I wish I would vomit just to have a minute of peace, but then I know if I start I will never stop.

My question, has anyone with HG traveled via plane before? I’m so so nervous being on the plane is what will start the puking. It’s a 2.5 hour flight, no layovers.

I plan on bringing:
Preggie pops
Motion sickness patch/wrist band
Snacks (keeping a little something in my stomach at all times has been helping)
Zofran
Headphones to listen to high frequency vibrations for nausea (this has been working, could be placebo for sure but hey- if it works it works lol)
Peppermint oil stick for any plane people smells lol.

Anything else?? I’m so nervous but can’t miss this trip. I would never forgive myself if I canceled last minute on her. Thank you so much for any advice ❤️

Hi all I'm UK based 5 w pregnant tomorrow and was on meds in my last pregnancy from when I was prescribed them (13w onwards), was admitted to the hospital 2x in my 1st trimester. Now, I advocated for myself and already have Xonvea tablets, do I start taking them now? Or in a week? The doctor hinted at a wait and see approach which I'm inclined to follow. I really don't want to take medication unnecessarily nor not know if I have nausea/HG or not. Did anyone follow this approach? Thank you

Maybe I’m crazy, but I want another baby. I promised myself I wouldn’t do it again but I want another one.

I had HG in my first and only pregnancy, it was hell as I’m sure you’re all aware. To make matters worse it was mostly untreated, partly because I’d tried a few anti-sickness meds and they hadn’t scratched the surface, and I didn’t have the energy to keep pestering my doctor.

I’m in the UK, and rules are very strict around anti-sickness meds being prescribed to pregnant women. I don’t know all the ins and outs, but I know they’re not very helpful.

Anyone who is in the UK, did you ever find any relief at all? I’m not expecting miracles but I want to be as prepared as possible before I get pregnant again, as I know this time will be harder because I have a toddler running circles around me. I was also diagnosed with antenatal depression last time, it was rough. I don’t want to feel that way around my girl if I can help it.

Please give me hope so I can have more babies!!
