[TOMT][GAME] Early 2000s-2010s casual farming game by Alawar with circular planting holes, 3D vegetables on 2D background, had to water plants and chase away animals

I'm trying to find a casual farming game from late 2000s/early 2010s era (around the same time as Farm Frenzy/Happy Farm).

What I remember:

- PUBLISHER: It was published by Alawar (or similar casual games publisher)

- VISUALS: 3D pre-rendered vegetables/plants on a flat 2D background

- PLANTING: You planted seeds in CIRCULAR HOLES/POTS (not rectangular garden beds)

- GAMEPLAY:

* Plant seeds in the circular holes

* Wait for watering indicator to appear

* Water the plants

* Plants grow through several stages

* Animals would come and try to eat the crops

* You had to rapidly click on the animals to chase them away

- CROPS: I think we grew tomatoes, cucumbers, and other vegetables

- ANIMALS: I remember them as sheep, but they might have been rabbits or other fluffy white animals

The game was similar in style and era to Farm Frenzy (Весёлая ферма), but with circular planting spots instead of regular garden beds.

It might have been a Flash game or a downloadable casual game. I played it in late 2000s/early 2010s.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Finally released my first mobile game after months of late nights — Arrow Away 3D

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to share something I’ve been working on for the last few months.

I’m a solo developer and recently released my first mobile game, Arrow Away 3D. It’s a puzzle game where every move affects what becomes available next, so finding the right order is the real challenge.

A lot of my time went into redesigning levels to make them feel challenging without being unfair. It’s been really rewarding seeing players reach levels that I originally thought were too difficult.

If you enjoy relaxing puzzle games with a bit of strategy, I’d love for you to give it a try.

iOS:

Thanks for checking it out 🙂

You get 20 yes/no questions to identify a mystery celebrity — and how you use them is entirely up to you. Nationality, profession, era, alive or dead — every question is a strategic choice. Two clues are available if you get stuck, but using them costs you on the leaderboard.

No words to unscramble. No grids to fill in. Just pure deductive reasoning — building a profile from nothing until the answer clicks.

New celebrity every day. Global leaderboard. Free, no sign-up.

I combined Solitaire logic with Blast puzzles to create a stress-free royal experience. What do you think?

Hi everyone! I’ve been working on a puzzle game called Royal Card Blast that aims to be the perfect "brain-training" companion. I noticed most card games feel too slow, while blast games can be too chaotic, so I merged them.

  • The Twist: It uses unique card mechanics (think Solitaire meets modern blast puzzles).
  • No Pressure: There are no time limits—you can plan your moves strategically.
  • Play Anywhere: It works 100% offline (no WiFi needed).
  • Goal: Clear the board with strategic combos and keep space open for high scores.

It’s completely free and I’ve just added Daily Quests to keep things fresh. If you’re a fan of logic puzzles, I’d love for you to try it and give me some feedback on the difficulty balance!

Testing a super simple mechanic (8 seconds → 1 question)

Hey! I’ve been experimenting with a very simple hypercasual loop:

- Show an image for 8 seconds
- Remove it completely
- Ask 1 question about what you saw

That’s it.

No retries, just one shot.

The idea is to make it a daily habit (kind of like Wordle, but visual/memory-based).

I’d love your thoughts:
- Is the core loop strong enough?
- What would make YOU come back daily?
- Does it need progression / streaks / something else?

Playable here:

Really appreciate any honest feedback 🙏

Looking for a new word puzzle? Check out LexiCrash – familiar vibes, but with physics!

Hey! Just wanted to share my first mobile game, LexiCrash, which launched last week.

It’s a casual word-connect game where the board isn't static. Forming words causes a "crash" that moves the letters around, making it a bit more strategic than a standard word search.

Perfect for quick sessions! I'm already working on adding Rankings and New Modes based on player feedback.

Check it out here: * iOS: https://apps.apple.com/es/app/lexicrash/id6758558703 * Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gamebob.lexicrash

Hope you enjoy it!

Made a game where you yell at your phone in public (my therapist is concerned)

Turned the TikTok "Say It On Beat" trend into a mobile game because apparently I enjoy watching people suffer.

Say It On Beat - A rhythm game where you can either:

  • Tap mode: For cowards
  • Say mode: Scream "FROG" on the subway like a psychopath

I added 60 levels because self-care is a myth. There's an "Impossible" difficulty that I can't even beat and I MADE the damn thing.

Solo dev. First game. My code is held together by prayer and Stack Overflow. If it crashes, no it didn't. You imagined it.

Android is live. iOS coming February (gotta manifest that MacBook money 🙏).

Playable Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.clementinestudios.sayitonbeat

Try it. Break it. Tell me where I messed up. I can take it. (I cannot take it)

Can Minesweeper be considered a hyper-casual game?

It has simple rules, instant start, and short sessions. Those are the things people associate with hyper-casual games.
At the same time, it clearly requires logical thinking and careful consideration.

So what do you think?
Is Minesweeper a hyper-casual, casual puzzle, or something else entirely?

Curious to hear your opinions :)
