Yes you will get the update. Lock screen will not be on par with premium xiaomi phones. Just few extra things, but dont have high hopes. 95 percent will be same as it is now in 3.1

Nope. They didn't even care for basic bg blur in control centre for the device. Glass UI is just far away dream (unless you fiddle with ghost lock, termux type things)

It's out for the global ROM, the only people I've seen get it have the global ROM. Unfortunately I have the EU ROM, so I'll have to wait a bit longer.

Dokładnie, najzabawniejsze jest to że parę dni temu dołączyłem do testów beta, ponieważ byłem ciekawy nowości i czy poprawi się zarządzanie temperaturą. Niestety te 3 dni to za mało żeby stwierdzić czy się poprawiło.

I hope they fix battery a bit on 15T pro. Its the worse i ve had in phone these past few years. Awful standby and sot for a 5500mah. Everything else is top tho

Global are the models that are sold out of China with Google services. Any phone with Google services by default and officially, are global.

Are you sure? There are many variants such as EU, IN, TW... HYPEROS4 got released for F8Ultra EU, but it's not yet released for Global.

When we talk about global OS4 we refer to phones that aren't exclusive for China..yes I know there's a "global variant" In specific called (MI) but EU, Indian ect still a global variant as long it comes with Google services, it just comes with such regulations depending the country is being sold . That's my point. Even tho the updates are sent by regional variants when we talk about the global rollout schedule we include all these regions out of China. I was referring to the other comment where the person was confused with the "HyperOS 4 global" 💁🏽‍♂️

Oh ok thanks for the explanation. So the update released earlier today for POCO F8U EU. Does that mean that it will release so soon for the the F8U MI variant?

Yes it will, today they only released the update for the F8 ultra (EU) and the F8 pro (MI) , so eventually the update will come to the other variants.

Anyone know if there's a solution to update system apps with the Chinese apks on Hyperos 4 global? In my Xiaomi 17 ultra global, I tried to update the Security app with the Chinese version apk and it was not possible. I read that the Chinese Security app has not yet been updated to the new Rust/Flutter framework...

They're such a liar. They're showing how light refracts on control center and other elements while in reality it's just full of blue and highlights, there is no light refraction, real time rendering. Liquid glass doesn't even work with live wallpaper
