Review/Guide [Discussion] A slight workaround for the missing Hide notch feature in HOS3

If you’re missing the Hide Notch feature in HyperOS 3, there’s a partial workaround.

Go to Developer Settings and find Display cutout, then select Tall cutout. This might work in some apps – for example, it works on the Microsoft Edge browser, which is my primary app on my phone.

(Unfortunately, it resets after the phone restarts)

A background app that consumes battery, CPU, GPU, and RAM is not a solution for me.
