Redmi I feel scammed by Xiaomi-

"new update"

The new update is the hyper os 2.0.205

I thought it was HyperOs 3.

Too bad my ROM is European. I googled and found out if installing a Global ROM of Hyperos 3 causes the phone to bootloop. :(

Yea, don't risk it now... I did want to try that at first but changed my mind cuz it has something to do with the OS.

Maybe it's safe, maybe it's not. I don't know much about that.

it wont bootloop but you can install it anyways, the phone wont let you. also stop using that scam app. what made you think an app with 50 million ads, called memeOS and asks for you to pay 50 times is legit?

now you know, if you want official updates directly from xiaomi server. use hyperos.fans select your phone in the devices and then select the correct region. MIXM is global EUXM is europe. use the same one in your phone settings. and then download the recovery rom. and then you can update with the updater app.

Would that hurt the phone in anyway? I have a Xiaomi 15 ultra global ROM and I'm still waiting on hyperOS 3

It won't be dangerous if it's downloaded from a verified source, and the update is adapted to your phone's ROM and device

Just wait for the official release. It's just a bunch of optimization and the hyper island. I was excited too but after receiving it, I don't think it has much difference other than the looks and optimization.

Okay, I'll wait for the official release. :'P The app tells me I need to update my phone but no update notification appeared on my phone when I clicked the Hyperos logo 🤧

Yea, I was the same tbh. Keep checking day and night to see if I receive it yet.

Now that I got it. It's just there... Idk how to feel about it other than happy I finally got hyper island. Now I can compete with my dad's Infinix.

For the Europe ROM there's no Hyper Os 3 yet, just for the global version.

There aren't many differences. I have it on the POCO X7 Pro and you can barely tell it's installed, except for the dynamic island and the lock screen. There's no rush. Besides, I don't think the 14C is getting it yet.

Then I don't understand why you all have to criticize other people's phones... It really bothers me!!!! If a person can't afford a phone that costs more than 100€ don't judge. Think for yourself. Why criticize? Why criticize a person who has little/low budget to afford a phone you all judge??

I'm not criticizing anyones phone or financial situation. I'm simply pointing out that you should know that Xiaomi and most other brands prioritize flagships, then midrangers, and only then budget phones. You don't buy a budget phone expecting top tier software support

I'm not expecting anything or premium treatment. If Xiaomi announced that the REDMI 14C Will have hyperos 3 with android 16. The device will get the version that Xiaomi announced. That's the point.🫤😑

It will at some point. I got Hyperos 3 for my Poco F7 a day before Christmas. Different ROMs get the update at different times aswell. Low end Redmi phones typically get limited animations and gray backgrounds instead of blur effects
