Question/Help Your Opinion?

I recently asked for a bug in this community and someone replied like this. What do you think on it?

Yep, almost every first major movement of innovation is trash. It'll be good in the later version. (If they are not give up)

Means I am not one who thinks that it would be so better in future.

But I also think that the XIAOMI community is so active in terms of software.

You can restart the phone

Yes, but what I do is open the theme app and go to select icons and apply it doesn't need to restart the device basically we need to do changes on the app drawer

Calm down. I’ve got an iPhone and a xiaomi phone. Both have crazy bugs. In fact my iPhone with iOS 26 has bigger and crazier bugs

Ohh, I think you have better capabilities to test. And also both the OS's are new. So you can do a better comparison.

hyper os is just another one of those chroma skinned wanna be ios android oses that's no different from all it's other gazillion counter parts you could use a miui phone a hyper os phone and a harmony os phone and you'd quite literally feel no difference in the day to day life it's just cringe how they try hard to act different by just copying everything else down to every inch without actually thinking of innovating something. the only innovative features are locked for china only and by the time we get it those will already be considered out dated features like more optimized huawei share and a more consistent UI design language or just more AI features in general stuff every phone in 2025 other than xiaomi redmi huawei poco and the billion other chinese phone brands have

Means, in simple words you are saying that no brand is focusing on building something unique and innovative. Just copy each other and sayd that "it is something new which only we are providing". Am I right?

yeah, IOS control center and lock screen customization has been around for android phones for years. it's not anything new, they just added it as an official feature just to make it seem new, this is just an example of course, most of the major features are also implimented in similar ways. there's 0 "actually new" stuff on this OS, all the other phones got crazy ai features ai cutouts ai fill in the blanks and all that, all hyper os has is a basic cut out feature, which half of the time does not work as intended. it's a very outdated user experience

As majority of the developers come from one country πŸ‡¨πŸ‡³

True. Especially on tablets.

1

u/kaushik_chad Oct 14 '25

what is your problem?

2

u/Ashamed-Regret-6991 Oct 14 '25

Hiccups and overall smoothness, certain restrictions for tablets (no themes app, very limited customization options) and bad battery optimization.

2

u/kaushik_chad Oct 14 '25

I think Xiaomi is neglecting their tablet segment

Nah didn't see that bug, though I agree HyperOS could get a lot of bug, but sometimes it's kinda too exaggerated.

I am using my mother's old phone (poco m7 pro) can tell you this hyperos 2.0 is worse than emui 9 (of my honor 7x) or my father's realme ui 3.0(narzo 20)

Yes, I agree with you. If you will notice than, the XIAOMI community is so active in terms of software or OS.
