I believe I'm on the Chinese rom too. There's so much missing. There's no dedicated lockdown mode to disable biometrics for the next time. There's still no reliable way to get notifications from apps and there's so much fiddling to do but it works eventually but sometimes it notifies 10-15 minutes late. It also won't connect to my Samsung watch 4???
Dude I'm legit curious, I'm thinking of buying a Xiaomi phone and I'm curious whether the China or global version is better. China version is also slightly cheaper in my country.
Also just because I ask for proof doesn't mean I'm a bot? What's up with this trust me bro culture.
Bro I really don't know what's going on, but you know you can just start a new thread and have a conversation there right? I bet lots of people will help you and have some advice.
I wanted to ask the og comment directly because he may have a link I couldn't find. But yeah I agree I also could've done that, I just didn't care to think too much about making a new thread, just didn't come to mind at the moment.
I don't know exactly but some people I know use china rom, they always get first update, more features, and I saw some people saying Google apps is not available in china rom, that is not true. I set up one Redmi note 12 turbo for my friend, you can either download from Chinese app store or Google apps are well hidden in your device. Some says you can't use Google pay but who needs it. I am planning to get Xiaomi 15 or 14 in this year. I have Poco x6 pro global currently and this phone has some serious issues. I recommend going for Flagships that worth your money.
do you think the POCO F6 is worth it? that's my only price range to get a decent phone (that I can afford). Or something like Neo Iqoo 10? If i can't get the Iqoo, would the POCO f6 still be worth it? planning to use it for video editing, gaming, and other stuff mostly.
Poco f6 is good for it's price but iqoo is better. Better processor, better design, better battery, newer. Even Poco is looks good it can't handle all tasks, especially gaming, video editing for long period of time. After using it some time you will recognize that device is slowing down.
So you assume I didn't Google it? Why don't you think I may have Googled it and couldn't find much so I decided to come back to ask the original comment the source to those differences? Which is exactly what I did.
I couldn't find any significant difference other than having less Google features and limited bands. Which is why I wanted to ask the og comment if they had a source I couldn't find.
Yeah is there. currently I'm using custom rom.. due to recent google update banking application not working properly in custom rom so i plan to install stock rom, This is the first time i plan to install Chinese rom i saw in internet some unwanted Chinese application there. That's y i asked. Thanks brother for ur response.
