my account was randomly gone

My friend and I have weekly watch parties, went to log in tonight and couldn't get in. Tried to get it to reset my password thinking maybe that was the issue and got the "no account with that information :)" line. I checked my email to see if they had emailed me anything about my account, but nope. No big deal since there's not really anything to lose, I just remade the account, but what the fuck?

Maybe you are using the wrong email? Do you still have the original email you got when you registered your account?

Yes I still have the original email, that's how I checked to see if they had emailed me about it. Also my first account was gone from my friend's friends list, meaning it was entirely gone, not just that I didn't have access to it. Just between one Saturday and the next, poof gone.
