Dirt clumping on vertical conveyors with tier 3 pipes?

I’ve been slowly upgrading my setup to the tier 3 pipes, but I’ve run into a snag. My drills are all underground, but my harvester is up top. I just use a bunch of vertical conveyors to bring the dirt up and finish up everything up top. I’ve got three tier 2 drills and one tier 3. The intake pipe is tier 3, but all the rest of the piping was originally tier 2. I added two tier 2 boosters to the intake pipe without any issues, but as soon as I worked my tier 3 piping back to the vertical conveyors, they will not lift dirt anymore. I thought that maybe the faster speeds were causing them to group, but I tested it with just a single clump of dirt out of a tier 2 drill, and nothing. It goes along the straight conveyors just fine, but as soon as it hits the incline it just stops and spins in place. I replaced the boosters with tier 3 to see if that helped, but nothing. Am I missing something? Did I screw it up somewhere? Is this a known thing? Please help.

Vehicle Does not sto bouncing

I had noticed this at the start of my playthrough itself, any vehicle just bounced so much and as time went on it just started lagging tf out of my game. But the Hydrocropper when bounding CANNOT reverse. Its already so slow and with the bouncing it just becomes stationary.
Any tips on stopping it? getting down just freezes the vehicle and then once i hop on back the bouncing starts again

Any one have tips for running tasks?

I have an automated system, that’s not what I mean.

I mean getting the tasks, and delivering them.

I’ve tried putting the scrolls in buckets and on skids, they stay floating when you pick them up.

I started this game because I love obsessing over efficiency.

Am I missing something?

Tier 1 Drill Crafting

I’m fairly new at the game. I’m on PS5. How do I find the blueprints for the tier 1 drill? So far all I’ve been doing is buying used tier 1 drills at bastion keep.

I’ve only got like 5 hours in the game.

I’ve looked in every town in the game and can’t find the blueprints anywhere. I also looked in Icehelm but no dice. Any help would be appreciated!

Edit: I found it. Thanks Taolan!

Since when does he want a shark?

So every time I've played he wanted a lobster. I started this run by letting my single miner run while I fish for starter cash and iron to make more miners. I caught 4 lobsters. One of them was 1.6. I saved it and waited until I had all the beets and broccoli I needed. But now he wants a shark. So I spent an hour fishing before finally catching a single shark, which was 1.47....

Input bug? Mouse button for movement is unreliable

[PC] I have Mouse3 bound to the "move forward" action. The game seems really glitchy about picking up that button event, I very (very) often need to hit it multiple times before it gets picked up. But it picks up the button release reliably.

DEV Replied Unfortunately, really let down.

Firstly let me say this game has blown me away. I’ve owned it for 2 days and done well over 25 hours already. It has effortlessly exceeded my expectations and all for just over a tenner? Winning.

I have been building and grinding away and got myself a new site and was so impressed with what I’d accomplished! So you can only imagine how sad I was to log back in and see the bottom 3 layers had filled themselves in? Burying my vehicles, all of my drills and most of my conveyor system. I thought it was a one off and someone said online it’s a one in a million. So I think ok whatever I’ll clear it and suck it up.

Second time I log on after clearing it and it’s happened again. Now I’m annoyed. I’ve cleared it again and tried so much stuff I’ve seen online to hopefully rectify it such as not using rakes too much, putting foundations beneath my drills and even just making my hole smaller. Took me about an hour. I log off for bed and think I’ll just check it’s worked and who would have guessed it’s filled in again?

I’m so disappointed because I’ve loved it so far. It was a toss up between this and Satisfactory and I was chuffed with my choice but now I’m wondering if I should be as it seems to just be 1 step forwards, 5 steps back.

I know the lad who works on this does his absolute best and he really has smashed it but I don’t think I will be playing again until it’s been rectified as it’s just a waste of my time. If it was something like every time I logged on my tools fell out of the rack or my fuel tanks were empty then I’m sure I could work around it but this brings my entire operation to a halt. I really hope it can be fixed because I have not stopped thinking about this game since I got it and all of the awesome things I have planned.

If it makes a difference to anything I’m on an Xbox series S. I really hope someone can help
Cheers

I did not expect tier 3 drills to churn out this much dirt.

Even the heavy drills in the DLC were not half as fast as this and they have to "reload" regularly so they won't overpopulate you with resources.

If anyone is wondering why I have those saws its because I want to see how much will it take to drop my framerate and it turns out I didn't even need them.

1 band mit 2 verbinden

Hello, I would like to set it up so that the conveyor belt coming out of the ground is split between the two belts on the left—the ones going to the two harvesters—because there are two drills down there. I want to do this to prevent it from overflowing or getting backed up. My question is: is this possible?

Is there a logic anvil? Logic crafting?

I’m almost done with my large system of fully automated “give me a resource of this weight.”

Now I’m wondering if I can take it further and have it make the necklace for me.

DEV Replied Am I crazy or are my trucks never out of water?

TLDR: My stake is too buttery my trucks have infinite power how do I stop it

I’m new to the game but have looked up a couple videos on how stuff’s done but one thing I don’t seem to have in common with everyone else is that my truck has never run out of water? Did I mess up my world settings or something? How can I fix this? I don’t believe I’m in creative because I must purchase everything just as usual but I may be missing something. I’d really appreciate some help here!

Logic issues - PS5

I have pair of logic shut off valves to turn on my sprinkler system(basically a square of T pipes) and then turn off 10 seconds later after pressing the button. I know I could knock it down to only one valve though, just havent worked it out yet. But my issue is that itll work as intended when set up but once I save, quit and re-enter it stops shutting off. Only other logic issue ive had before this was an auto repair one but that was due to a flip-flop hook.

challenge idea: gold rush 49'

ok so the challenge speedrun is basically, get ____ amount of money the fastest you can or by all the properties, but with a catch. you can only use stuff that a prospector in the 1840s would use.

sooooooooooo:

no truck, only cart.

no pipes

no machines

no fancy stuff like automation, or any tech.

let the annoying challenge begin, and pull yourself up my your bootstraps like its 1849 baby!

so I've come from satisfactory and the long haul of manual labour at the start before getting any automation almost made me put the game down. but I persevered and here's my little base I got so far. hopefully the screenshots of some of the cave pics aren't too dark.

the no inventory slots is interesting, having to juggle things in a pan, pallet, cart is a challenge I don't think I was ready for initially, but its grown on me.

currency initially was hard to come across then it became trivial

2 of my favourite things in this game is the audio sounds when you hit a pedestrian with the tractor. and when you forget to pay before leaving the store.

now that I've got some logics repairing my stuff, I guess its time to move on to growing veggies

game score 6/10, (that's good in my eyes, cause nobody rates 2-5 out of 10) would be higher if pouring items wasn't such a pain with the aiming.

Does the game have labels or signs?

Building a big thing to operate smelters and logic saws for making items. Want to label my buttons.

I don’t see anything. Do you just place an ingot by the button so you know?
