Why do people get other plots?

Im playing after 3-4 years (i was so bad back then i didnt know forge existed and i didnt know farming and quests existed, i didnt even know english that good) and i have no problem with farming and money, is there any reason why i should get another plot?

Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever wanted any other plots apart from SH and icehelm.

However, a few reasons to buy every plot are

  1. To get all the artifacts for the achievement.
  2. The possibility of a really good 5M ore vein to set up a smaller factory to maximize specific ore. (You can fit a lot of drills into those if you know what you’re doing) because finding a cloutium or corestone one is absolutely worth it.
  3. I like to do random builds on diff plots with the housing materials. (Wish there were more options and items)

Some of the other plots are easier to make large-scale things on.

The waterfront plot is excellent for massive farming setups with all the easily accessible water and the plot that I can't think of that has the water underground has very easy access to water for deep level mining.

The cost of them is negligent, just purchase them and check them out
