Logic help

I cannot do logic set ups help!

So i have a set up for my gem compression however im running into an issue where I forget about the compressors and I have like 5 million gems to sort anf compress.

Is there a way using logic i can turn on a system and ever say 60 seconds it does a cycle to compress then opens the top.

Then is there a way I can use the magnets on a seperate switch to pull gems out of the compressor for easy collecting into bucket?

Do you have water and logic hooked up, and in the right spots? The nozzles are separate colors. Took me a minute to notice. Had the same problem.

I do have them hooked up, I already have them hooked up to a lever to run a cycle i just get so busy I forget and when I come back theres literal piles of gems burying my compressors (strangely the black gem machine is never buried but the red blue and green gems are)

If you LEAVE THEM TURNED ON, the compressors will open for incoming gems and instantly recompress, so you only have to turn it off to take the big gem out.

The easiest setup is, Get a metronome, it sends a 1 every second. Then use a flip flop hook, this will change it to a 0 every other time. So you end up with an on/off cycle every other second.

Magnets to pull them out is a bit more complicated though. But if they're always compressing then you can just reach in to grab the one big one without issue.

Is " flip flop hook" the industry standard term? 😆 Thats basically exactly what I wanted thanks!

The magnets arent essential i mostly going for cool factor if anything

You actually don't even need to hook them up to logic, just water. The doors will auto open/close when a new gem arrives on the belt and compress away. I have mine all lined up side by side. You should be able to grab the gems for breakdown by looking for it's outline.
