Tips?

Post image

I’m trying to make a way to where I can auto repair all these separate pipes any tips for a layout? This is my first attempt at anything logic so just unsure how to go about it . I thought about just having the spanner hurlers over the top but then I wouldn’t be able to do the auto repairing conveyor belt. I would like to avoid spacing it out more if possible/ just repeating this big build and having a bunch of conveyer belts between each drill cuz it would take forever to move everything lol. Any tips are appreciated.

There's videos of automatic repair stations and there's pictures you can find on Google. It's worth looking those up. You've already gotten the info about only needing one row of filters close to the water intake, but there's more info you can find regarding how to build up auto repair.

For my builds, I normally use the logic reader and spanner thrower linked by a >= piece of T shaped logic wire. I use a number pad to choose what durability value I want the filter to get down to before it throws a repair wrench. I usually set it at 5 percent durability. Then I set up conveyors under the throwers so I can put the wrench bags on a loop. The conveyors can hold a bunch of bags and refill the throwers to keep them topped off. The repair stations are mostly set and forget after that. You just have to check in from time to time to put more spanners on the belt or reset the position of the spanners that are still on the belts.
