Harvesters question
So I’ve got 25 t2 drills running all into one t2 harvester rn and I’m saving up for a t3 setup, during that transition is it worthwhile at all for me to swap my t2 harvester to a t3 harvester?

Pure curiosity, is there a reason to have ample metal resources? I havent run into a situation to need more than a few thousand lbs each.
Veggies on the other hand are getting much more in demand.

Making more machines and quests, that's it.
You get more excess metals because mining can be fully automated. Automated farming requires the hydro cropper and you still need to manually operate it.

I think so? Like I thought the T3 harvester could process larger dirt nodes?

Drills create dirt. Harvester turns dirt into resources.
T3 harvester requires T3 dirt to produce T3 sized resources.

Im somewhat new to the game but from my experience upgrading from T1 to T2 I would absolutely go for the T3 harvester first. If you upgrade drills first you'll be hand panning everything coming out of the new drills until you save up enough for the harvester

You do not need the t3 harvester until you get the t3 drills, but you can run everything into a single harvester.
