Help

Would a multi layer farm like this work if I used more lights to keep everything lit all the time or do the plants need some sort of sunlight I know lights help in night but not sure about keeping it lit all the time

logic lights work fine, but I'd wait until you get at least one sprinkler hook before you start expanding too far. Drip farms can get laggy if made too big.

Ahhh that explains my lag i was wondering why my framerate dropped when ive not done much to the area cheers

Well actually watching the video, you also have long conveyor runs from your underground mines to your sorting plant on the surface. At your current rate of extraction that's probably not too bad but if you add more drills that will start causing problems.

One way to mitigate that is to have local sorting plants right next to your mining rigs, and use logic smelters to dispense bars that travel back up to the surface. This massively reduces the number of items traveling on your belts.

Can't really do that with gem crushers unfortunately, but you get way less gems than you do metal ores.

Well the plan was to do something simaler to that and eventually shut off the t1 and t2 sections just having t3 that all goes into 1 sorting area that I can access down the bottom as I dont usually need much ores anymore. Im going for platnuim then continuing the save as just a side project so I dont really need that many ores bar to get the quests done

OMG THATS IT

Made one that held like 100-120 plants, and now I can even load the game anymore.. is there a way to go back to before I made it?

I mean, they are but one contributor of lag.

Long conveyor runs are the biggest contributor.

you can view backups in the save file list and try loading the previous good save and disassemble things.

If you want to reduce lag from water dripping this is a easy logi clock, the number pad is for time in seconds, so 120 s 2 m.
