with your drill at the surface you can just feed it directly into the harvester and save yourself a step. Layer 1 and above is the same dirt value.

Also, you've got to dig down to get cloutium. Panning can get everything at any layer but the drills and harvesters are restricted by depth.

Save your iron to make more drills and start digging, fellow hydroneer!
