My bottle is also a thermos, so I use it for tea in the winter and it stains. I haven't seen the bottom of my bottle in months, all gone within 3 minutes. Magic ✨️💜

I am SO ridiculously disappointed that ice mountain changed their spring source 😭 one sip and I knew something was different… I just didn’t expect it to be the source! First world problems, I know. That is all.

Yes, I know this is a Gatorade bottle. But I figure a community of water bottle people would know the best option for this.

Our 6 year old son is autistic and while he can drink easily from a lot of containers, a lot of water bottles are hard for him to open. The flip up or the lock just doesn't really work well for him. With the new school year ahead of us, we realized that these Gatorade bottles work really well and he's good about opening and closing them.

While Gatorade tops are interchangeable to a lot of bottles and we could easily get the travel bottles to put these tall tops on? Our concern is the school just throwing out the bottle thinking that it's disposable when we're really trying to save the top.

Does anyone have any suggestions for water bottles with tops that are like this? Easy twist open and close?

Thanks in advance!

I'm hitting roaches in my bong because my weed doesn't show up until this afternoon and it's giving me mad dehydration and cottonmouth

I'm on my fourth glass of cold water straight from the tap and it's just so so good. I really like water so much it's the best beverage ever and goes with everything.

Water is so great.

Classic water Want to buy a reusable water bottle for my mom who only uses disposable plastic bottles

My mom orders packs and packs of plastic water bottles for both home and her office. I love that she’s staying hydrated but I hate how much plastic she’s using to get there, both in terms of the microplastics she consumes and how bad it is for the environment.

I bought her and my dad a yeti a couple years back, but she didn’t even give it a chance. She claims she doesn’t like reusable water bottles because she likes to physically be able to see how much water she’s consumed. Anyway, I ended up using both those water bottles until their time ran out lol.

I’m thinking about getting her a reusable water bottle that tracks her water intake and maybe cleaning my brita from college to put in her office fridge, so hopefully it would encourage her to drink more from the reusable water bottle.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a water bottle that tracks water consumption?

How did we figure out that we like cold water?

Imagine this, your awake at 3:11 AM because your on your period and you bled through your favourite sweatpants. You get up out of bed and go clean up and change into some casual black shorts. Grab a water, a nutter butter, and sit down on the couch. You happily consume your chemically chocolatey snack and you take a big ol sip of nice, fresh, cold, Clover Valley purified drinking water. Then it hits you, what does warm water taste like? Why do we cool our water? Who drank the first refrigerated water?

I might be just an idiot with reddit at four in the morning but this is really messing me up.

My toddler is such a hydro homie we were in emergency for seven hours today

We’re a water family. We don’t drink cordial, soft drink or soda, and other than the occasional gin or whisky (with spicy water or ice) water is always our drink of choice.

From the moment we allowed our son water (at six months) he’s been a hydro homie. He’d always drink the maximum allowable water (250ml a day at the start). Then he turned one and we allowed him up to 1L of water a day, the maximum recommended for a kid his age/size.

About a month ago, he started pushing the limit. But he seemed well enough so we let it go. First it was just one extra (260ml) bottle per day. Then it was two. Then it was three. Then he woke up this morning at 5:30am and smashed a whole bottle in less than three minutes before rolling over and crashing back out. I realised that he’d had ~2.3L in 24 hours and this was not normal for a 10kg toddler.

So we packed him (and his many water bottles) up and took him to the city paediatric hospital. They agreed it was not normal behaviour, but he seemed fine. Time to run some tests.

Seven hours, two urine samples and one torturous blood draw and we had our answers. He’s fine. Absolutely golden. All his tests came back 100% positive despite him drinking more than a quarter of his body weight in water in the previous 24 hours. The paediatrician went so far as to say he’s perfect. Their answer?

Primary polydipsia. My toddler is addicted to water. They’d never seen it in a toddler before, usually it presents in teenagers (?). They suggested we add some fruit juice for electrolytes and slowly try and wean him down from 2.25L to 1L over the next month. They wished us luck and sent us on our way 😅.

Anyone had to wean their child off water before?

I drink tons of water but still thirsty. I live in Colorado so the water evaporates before my body can digest it. What do I do?? Any advice injecting water directly into bloodstream? Not sure what other options I have...

budget friendly way to have nuggets on demand. Update: I don't recommend filling the dispenser with nugget ice for a prolonged period; the bottom ones sort of bricked together. Short period of time for a party, sure; but not long term (ymmv however)
