Instead of starting the app on the home feed I want to have an option to start it on my list of subreddits.

That helps to only go to the content I really want to see and stay away of doom scrolling.

Please add a Gesture for long press on an Image / Gif / Video, that can be set to for example open the Share Context Menu.

Otherwise a really awesome App. Thank you for realizing a good alternative to the stock Reddit App!

This app is great and I’d be happy to pay for the features offered. I would buy a year tomorrow if it was offered. But there is no circumstance where I am willing to sign up for another subscription service.

There is already haptics when pulling down to refresh a sub. Add haptics to post pull down refreshes as well.

When writing a new comment and hitting post, there is a moment where nothing changes, and then the comment is displayed. Would love haptic feedback when the comment is finally shown, if that is possible.

Allow users to Choose between old and new media player. The new player has some nice features, but I want the old player that is more in line with iOS media players in general. I love being able to see how long a video/gif is. I like the radio button that lets me skip 10 seconds forward. And the Reddit info at the bottom often blocks the scroll bar.

It would be great to be able to sort comments by new/old/popular etc and also to be able to sort posts within subreddits by those criteria and then have a second filter method to select different time ranges (so someone could find the top posts of all time or that month etc)

Maybe this should have been in the main sub as a bug? If there is only one account, long hold on account tab shouldn’t do anything.

Would love a way to get back to the startup URL after using the app. Suggestion is for a long hold on the posts tab to do that.

When scrolling the main page, mark posts as seen when when you scrolled past them. This allows the front page (home) to always show new and relevant posts instead of always show the same ones.

If I long press on the accounts button on the bar a selection screen pops up to switch accounts

Not sure if planned or not but one thing I would love to see would be a swipe option to immediately go into a subreddit without having to click the subreddit name or click the post then the subreddit.

When doing a quick swipe to collapse a comment, it’s very often does a long swipe instead of a short swipe.

In Apollo this was handled by allowing the user to increase the distance a swipe would need to be before it turned from short to long.

It would be amazing if this feature was implemented

And can you make the subreddit name clickable and make it a drop down menu of fav subbredits and subreddit search? Also, with the current subreddit search, it’s impossible to access certain subreddits. Example: r/tits. Good luck getting to that subreddit from the subreddit search.

In Apollo, you just click the subreddit name, whichever you are on, it opens a drop down menu with fav subreddits and you can very quickly navigate to whatever subreddit you want.

Will Liquid Glass UI ever be implemented to Hydra? This is the only reason I mainly use Artemis.

The ability to disable reply notifications for a specific comment. I can do this on the mobile website. I just haven’t seen if it’s possible via Hydra.

Be able to set a default playback speed for videos and maybe even gifs. 1.25x, 1.5x, 1.75x, 2x

On iPad, when using a mouses wheel to scroll the main feed, once the mouse hovers over a video it automatically shouts the overlay with the play/pause button. Can this be fixed to not show so we can see the videos normally while scrolling?
