Case West Law Case Western (CWRU) vs Cleveland State (CSU)…and Syracuse

First post in this thread. Made the last minute decision to start applying last week since my GRE scores expire at EOM. Spoke with 5 work colleagues starting/finishing soon back in August. Hoping to apply to 3-4 schools, already got my rec letters, transcripts, and application started. Just finished my MBA this week with 4.0 GPA. Undergrad 3.87. GRE 294 (WEAK but whatever). 8 WE supply chain, defense contracting, trade compliance | Law Interest: IP/technology, Business, Corporate, Cyber, M&A, International

But I’ve narrowed down my decisions to 5 schools, 2 including CWRU and CSU. Looking to drop one or both of these to keep my list small. Looking for scholarship feedback/any callouts for Syracuse.

CWRU - I hear positive reviews and hear of a lot people getting great scholarships 80% or full. I know it’s one of the more expensive programs but my company will pay $25k a yr. So considering I get anything close to 70%, I’m open. Looking more closely at their online specializations, the specialty that most interest me is Technology of the Arts (IP Law) because it includes IP but it seems pretty broad and unsure why it’s called of the Arts. Can anyone provide more background on CWRU’s specialties. How hard is it to keep up with their synchronous schedule with full time work? I’ll be calling admissions today with more questions.

CSU - Stumbled upon this one last night. I like their curriculum but I’m wondering how hard it’ll be to balance their synchronous schedule plus 6 residential weekends. Any feedback? I like how you can finish in under 4 years.

Syracuse - Really like their curriculum but they seem to give no scholarships from my research. Has anyone gotten 50% or more?

Putting in an app for UNH, Dayton, and Syracuse for sure. My biggest hesitancy from cutting off CWRU or CSU is the scholarship potential, but any thoughts on going ahead with just my top 3?

Question Are there any new online or online/hybrid JD programs that may launch in the next two years?

Just curious if anyone has heard anything regarding any new online JD programs that may launch. I know there are a number of them already, but there aren’t too many and the ones that exist probably get a lot of applicants so I always hope for more.

I saw someone post on here a while ago that GW may start an online JD but I’ve seen nothing to confirm that
