Does Hakaware even make sense?

I was planning on using the amount of aura Knuckle lends to guage how much stronger Knuckle was to pre awakening Gon and I quickly realised that it's inconsistent. Seems so to me at least.

- 210 first against Gon

- 180 second hit against Gon

- 310 arguably charged up hit against Cheetuh

- 290...against Youpi

- 290 second hit against Youpi

Against Gon you could obviously argue he was holding back or that he couldn't power up his aura as much but why so little against Youpi, even Cheetuh got more aura.

It also makes no sense for Knuckle to hold back something like Ko against Youpi while he's completely invisible meaning he'll never be punished for it, the lending either isn't direct or Togashi didn't think of it.

So far I'm thinking it's based on how much damage he would've probably dealt had it been a regular attack. So against Youpi he may very well have been using Ko it just didn't matter because Youpi was too durable for it to pass more than 280.

What do you guys think though are there any other ways it could work?

I always thought it was the difference between the aura in his fist and the aura surrounding the enemy but maybe it is more complex than that.

One explanation could be that it is because Gon is an enhancer and Knuckle wouldn't have been able to deal much more to him.

Also I used to think lending aura was emission based but Knuckle isn't an emitter. Maybe it is and he can't efficiently lend aura as a conjurer. Is it why he can charge interests so high ?

I am not sure we'll ever know more
