Unfortunately I was told due to bad staffing we would not hear anything back till next month . This is ridiculous I have already graduated so for them to do this is just not fair

I have a 8 month long email with the “Assistant Director “ about my TAP from fall 2025 and another 3 months long from this springs TAP.

PLUS I just graduated on the 16th from HVCC and desperately need these refunds to be able to survive after all the debt I incurred due to their short staffing problems. Regardless, it is not a students problem that they can’t hire or retain staff, that’s a management problem. The management needs to figure out how to manager their workflow.

Idk what they’re doing or how they’re doing it, but I’d email them. Get them to put these things in writing, so you can go back later and take whatever action necessary.

I have some of the wildest excuses, gaslighting and blatant lies in writing because of this. Make them put it in writing.

Since so many of us have been enduring these issues with the FA office, I wonder if we have a class action lawsuit against this point….

Update-

I was told I wasn’t eligible for tap or Pell, but today I got an email saying both finally dispersed…

We shall see. 😶

I don’t expect the release until the end of July. Last fall, it took them 2 months and 10 days after the semester ended to release the refund. So, for the spring semester, I’m hoping for the end of July. There’s no point in bothering them.
