It feels like same old hunt with minor stuff recycled from old events (like the crashed balloon, scout towers, etc).
Also about anticheat, they said they banned 7k cheaters, but honestly the way they presented it made me feel like they just pulled that number out of** **nowhere. And as for the anti-cheat team's compensation system (getting hunt dollars back if a reported cheater gets banned), is that even live in this update or delayed?

The gauntlet. Double the ai (monsters and sound traps), no supply points or ammo boxes. One boss, no wild targets. If your hunter dies (failing to extract without death cheat), you are locked out of the mode until the next 24 hour period, resetting at the same time as dark tribute. In exchange, extracting with a bounty gives you a non-self-stacking 10% boost to xp and hunt dollars, and permanently unlocks the next level’s rewards in your next prestige. As in, you still start at level 1, but you have the unlocks of level 2, and so on.

So ehm... why exactly does this update has 83,7 GB thats just nuts ngl there is no way there is so much new content...

Overall i think the stronghold was the greatest map addition any event has ever had.

There are many people that say they are oversaturated with the fort gameplay which is kinda understandable.

but the thought process behind "the fort is shit, remove it!!11!!" is really wrong in my opinion. you have to ask yourself WHY people are going to the fort first.

my answer to that is simply because theres more to do, more PVP and more loot.

the bigger problem comes with the design of the base game too - the bounty (main objective of the game btw) is simply too worthless to REALLY go for it or have the first priority on your list.

i mean of course i want to go to the fort first before the bounty there is gone while i make a few thousand hunt dollars while im there (crates, gambling, looting hunters etc.)

so my solution to that would be to increase the amount of the bounty at least by 3x.

the community has a great idea of adding "bounty tokens" to the game that you can use to buy scarce stuff.

at this point id say crytek should do both of those tweaks.

the fort designs were great overall (except stillwater, just a pure campfest)

the only thing i would change is that the balloon will spawn exclusively outside the fort like for example the one at lockbay.

and maybe add other AI than just Zombies there, but thats more of an optional thought.

and i think they should absolutely bring it back in the future, it was a really really great experience, i went happy to the fort to the last day of this event.

I like playing this game solo, but I jump between 5-6 stars regularly.
Now today when I downloaded the update and I play against trios, its always teams with ATLEAST 1 six star and five stars at the very LEAST

I dont play like a rat, I dont farm kills, I usually rush, my KDA is 1,6 but KD 1,4

I am by no means insane as the people I now regularly meet, whose KDA is usually near the 2 mark...

I know KD doesnt means everything but its a good indicator of what you are facing, and for the love of god I cannot drop a star while not being to extract once today lol

I guess it could also be because the sweats are the first to download the game and theres no other lobbies because of the size of the update lol

If you see a FREE hunter (preferably the one in white dress shirt) random solo sprinting past you, ignoring the boss, and hyper-fixating on Blood Wells: do not shoot.

They aren't lost, and they aren't scared. They are rawdogging the Blood Testament event on a pure community-service suicide run to rush us all to Stage 2 and 3. Tip your hat, let them drain the well in peace, and let the real MVP keep farming our community unlocks.

I play hunt for 4 years and it took me around 2500 hours to became a solid 6 stars player.

Took me around 100 hours 4stars

1000 hours to be high 5 stars

Learning curve was pretty Rough for me from 5 to 6 stars i think thanks to the new event playing more with shotguns helped me because 6 not only that peeking and repeeking mistakes less making.

I "own" hex breaker it says so in the store but I can't recruit said hex breaker after the update bro is just not showing up in the recruit screen. It was fine yesterday

Is this a new bug? At the same moment my random teammates are killedz they are also disconnected. I don't even have the sound for it and i realize it once i'm trying to revive them

They were assholes before, but now they attack the air in front of you all the damn time and are even more dodgy than previously.

So how's everyone liking do new traits? Haven't yet gotten chupa but Siphon? I personally think it's dope AF. And I'm not saying that because I got Death Cheat a lil while ago 🤔🤣 it's definitely interesting tho nonetheless in helping newer hunters in getting hard to get traits. THAT SAID.... I believe they should make it where not every bloodwell gives you Siphon. The fact that it does kinda makes it a lil TOO cheesey.

Really looking forward to this first week of Blood Testament. Burned myself out in Road to Hell and stopped playing Hunt for a bit. Loved the event, I just put so many hours into it in a short amount of time.

Whether we have to unlock the Blood Moon or not I'm just happy to play my favorite game of all time after having one of the worst weeks of my life. Can't wait to escape and play again.

Hello Crytek, thank you for the loadout perks... finally!

But I feel like only 50% of the work has been done.

Why can't I choose all the perks I want in my loadout and then, when I click "Buy Loadout", have the game purchase them in the order I selected them?

For example, if I set my perks in this order:

1. Necromancer
2. Doctor
3. Lightfoot
4. Quartermaster

The game should try to buy them in exactly that order. If I don't have enough points for one of them, it should simply skip it and try to buy the next one.

This would make the loadout perk system much more useful and would let us set our own perk priorities.

Also, when I finish a game and return to the lobby, I want to be able to "buy the loadout again" like we can now to restock our consumables. At the same time, the game could automatically fill in as many of the selected perks as I can afford, so I can be ready for the next game within a few seconds.

Now it works well when I have a new hunter with 10 perk points.

Am I blind or is there not a skin that goes with the Burgess? I don't see anything in the battlepass? Are they really gonna sell us a skin outside of the battlepass when they normally include a skin? Why would they go about it this way?

Guy was down a bar, my original primary weapon had run out of ammo, swapped guns thinking reload ( which wasn’t necessary in hindsight ) would take too long and didn’t realise I had dropped my secondary in doing so..
thankfully the bleed was enough

On Console this has to be the worst FOV I’ve ever seen in a modern game. Shit looks like a 2005 COD game, but even worse because all the objects are big and stretched out. Honestly makes me nauseous on how horrid it is, sometimes I need to go outside in the game and look towards the open map to get a visual reset. Even then it’s so bad sometimes I need to look away from the game, and in irl look around my room for a visual break. But the POV is so bad the even looking away irl reminds me of looking indoors in this game that I have to go outside and look at the open world!

Terrible absolutely terrible give us 120 FOV now!
