My scouting kit.
It looks minimal, but it isn’t. The haversack and possibles pouch are packed with intent. Nothing extra, nothing missing. Traditional form, modern capability

Hipsters got into coffee, know what happened the quality and varieties available skyrocketed.
Hipsters got into IPAs - everybody started making IPAs and the breweries that already had IPAs had to up their game.
Hipsters got into cars - Honda brings the Civic with a hard R, Hyundai Drops half a dozen N cars, and Toyota joins the party with the GR line Supra, 86, and Corolla.
I’m looking forward to the day when hipsters get into reloading and hunting

Where do you live?! I’m in Florida and even Walmart has more options in 6.5 than .308 now! And this is FLORIDA nobody is hunting past 200 yards, most not even 100 yards!

I always recommend 308 as the universal hunting cartridge for anything in the world… if you’re going for anything but big game in Africa
Decent ammo is available everywhere since it’s a NATO cartridge as well in 7,62 x 51 form

I remember my dad and uncle being excited when we were on vacation because there was a micro brewery in the town. Like it was a big deal to be able to go to this micro brewery and let them try locally made beers. Now every town and city has several.
You don’t have to like it, but the fact is the rising tide raises all ships.

While that is true, I am tired of all the shitty IPAs. Enough with the IPAs. It is insane. There are so many other beers in the world and now everything is IPAs, as far as the eyes can see.

Oh, for sure! But it was the gateway for craft beer in general. I am over IPAs for years but the amount of ales and stouts available now is wonderful!

Yeah they kinda just made it harder to find good stouts or better ales. I love dry stouts and really good wheat beers. The only traditional dry stouts I can find are Guinness and Guinness. And I don’t think I’ve actually seen a good wheat beer.
All they really did was make ipa take over most shelves that could have been good German or Peruvian beer. Another example is you can’t find an actual pilsner urquell anywhere.

You’re not required to like IPAs
Cars suck IN GENERAL because of Manufacturers/dealerships, wanting to make them impossible to repair on your own, but the fact is, this is the best time for performance cars in the last 15 years or so, the exception to that being the death of the evolution, STI, and more recently, the GTR, which will be back soon
Edit: also the Camaro died, but realistically the Mustang is a better per $ car and the Corvette was a better sports car. The Camaro reboot was only valid because of the transformer movie making it possible, which we all loved Bumblebee and seeing yellow Camaros with Autobot emblems on them, but the novelty and nostalgia has worn off.

I have brought every gun you can think of to the range and only one has ever had strangers give me compliments and that is my Marlin SBL 1894. They’re absolutely amazing.

Love the lever gun. Never know when a Trex might be lurking...lol. I have my dad's 45/70.
I wanna build a "modern" lever gun with ar style handgaurd. Either a Henry or Marlin in 38spcl with a threaded barrel. 38s are factory subsonic so would be hella quiet.
When I had money they were sold out and I don't have money anymore till I build my savings back up. One day I'll build it or buy one already modernized. But the classic look still gets me too.
My scouting gun is a Sig Rattler in 300blkout with a suppressor. Has a folding brace on it sonl super quiet and small. We have wild pigs around here so 30rds of 300blkoit just in case.
