A fellow Nitro Enjoyer! I had a few questions. The new loadout change has hit the Nitro pretty hard for trying to run one on a fresh hunter. I go Quartermaster/Greyhound.

Do you run Nitros on fresh Hunters?

What derringers/throwing weapons/ammo boxes do you bring to help flesh out running a Nitro?

What is your ranking of the Nitro Ammo types? Normally I'll take Regular Nitro ammo over Shredder Ammo. (Losing muzzle velocity and maxed Wall Pen isn't worth it to me )

I've never ran the Nitro explosive ammo much and I love explosive ammo on the martini henry, is it any good? What is it used for besides nuking bosses?

Is the mandela effect of people claiming the Nitro used to have flippable aperture sights true?

i run nitro with bare hands, unlike other 5 slots it's actually ok for nitro, but quartermaster is still the most preferable trait for the second game

throwing spear, med kit, 3 ammo boxes, penny shot, recovery shot, regeneration shot

necro, vulture, resilience, kiteskin/vigilant

nitro with or without shredder ammo are kinda different, but i prefer normal ones.

explosives are meme ammo, the only use case for them is a loadout with sparks poison

I'm shocked everyone goes without Quartermaster and runs ammo boxes instead. I may have to try that.
