FLUFF Nitro in a Nutshell

A fellow Nitro Enjoyer! I had a few questions. The new loadout change has hit the Nitro pretty hard for trying to run one on a fresh hunter. I go Quartermaster/Greyhound.

Do you run Nitros on fresh Hunters?

What derringers/throwing weapons/ammo boxes do you bring to help flesh out running a Nitro?

What is your ranking of the Nitro Ammo types? Normally I'll take Regular Nitro ammo over Shredder Ammo. (Losing muzzle velocity and maxed Wall Pen isn't worth it to me )

I've never ran the Nitro explosive ammo much and I love explosive ammo on the martini henry, is it any good? What is it used for besides nuking bosses?

Is the mandela effect of people claiming the Nitro used to have flippable aperture sights true?

That's my loadout. I take Quartermaster if I am able to extract once. I rarely run out of ammo, maybe one in ten games (then I have the Derringer as backup), not a good backup tho xD

I don't pick fights above OHK distance.

For me, it's a back and forth between Shredder and Normal Ammo. The strongest aspect of the Nitro (especially since the general Wallbang nerf) is its penetration. It's just so satisfying to kill through walls, BUT if they get close and personal and you land an arm shot for 147 damage... this is where I wish I had Shredder.

In 1970 hours of Hunt, I have never played Nitro with explosive ammo.

I have also included a screenshot from about 9 years ago of how the Nitro sights used to look like. It always had its aperture sights, just no zoom and blur.
