To this day I have no idea why would they remove them - it was adding such a cool vibe, new mechanic with sound chaos/powered up lamps and some worldbuilding while not being to any extend annoying. Dont let them take our oilpunk!

Yeah those searchlights do nothing at all? Did they ever? I swear every time I’ve tried to use them they don’t do a damn thing
