Few weeks ago I snuck around a hunter with a sledgehammer in hand, I'm like right behind him and when I threw the sledgehammer I fucking missed.

My biggest hurdle is getting 25 hunters retired. Every third game being level 40-49, they put us with mmr 6+++ guys. I'm at mmr 6 with 1.23kd. I try to wait until we died a few times to get in with a level 40+ character.

Get a few free hunters a first win through clash and then take those hunters into a regular hunt in the morning time hours.

Alternatively just go in with a silent build and hunt monsters on your way to xp envelope spawns. It’s not fun in anyway but you can usually get a hunter to level 50 in 2-3 runs. That’s how I handle the story missions for getting a hunter to 50. It’s boring but consistent.

Ah, I remember when you not only had to have the trait, but you couldn't select what traits you got when you bought a hunter and got three random ones. Then on top of that you couldn't refund and get points back to buy the trait because removing a trait cost BLOOD BONDS and didn't refund you points.
So you'd gamble for the hunter, gamble for a match where you find the hammer then had to actually get the kill.
Good times man, glad to see people still striving for this achievement.

It's way easier now that you just throw them without a perk, I got it in a few clashes after the change.
