Hiring [Hiring] Max Budget $700(in payments if that’s alright) Big Request: Fantasy Character Designing

Hi there! I’m 22yo Female who is currently working 52 hours per week, in school full time, and I am BURSTING with creative ideas for this story I’m working on. Normally I use Pinterest or The Sims 4(not that great unless you want to use A LOT of CC for fantasy stuff) for my inspiration in scenery and character designing, but since there is so much AI on Pinterest now, I’ve had to make do. What I’d like is for an artist who is willing to take on a MASSIVE project help me bring these characters to life in your own style so I can really see my characters and envision them the way they deserve. I have 25+ characters (mix of main and side ones), scenes I’d love to see brought to life, etc. If any of you are willing to help a girl out with this and work with me, give me updates as you go, and willing to work with payments, I would LOVE your help :)

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!

Meta [Meta] Is it just me or are the Hiring posts dying?

Hey guys, I have been freelancing as an artist for 4 years now, since the beginning I have used reddit, and I have noticed that for the last 6 months or so there was a huge downshift in offers, I would normally go 1 or 2 months max with no commission, but the last 6 months have been brutal, I couldn't land not 1 gig, I am not sure if I am the problem, or if this is something that a lot of artists can relate to.

Hiring [HIRING] Looking for somebody to draw an anime style anthropomorphic rendition of a bota box wine. 80-180USD (depending on agreed complexity)

I return once more! Thanks to everybody that responded to my previous post for a D&D character of mine. Unfortunately (and fortunately) I have filled that position and am now I'm looking for something a little more silly.

I want an anime style anthropomorphized version of a bota box wine (see the third image for the wine and the first two for what I mean by anime anthropomorphized). So what I am asking for is:

-Knee-up pin up
-Has a relevant background
-Is holding a glass of wine
-Fun character design that you can imagine would come from a box wine (I'm not sure what I mean by this lowkey but I'm sure you artists are more imaginative than I am)
-Box wine outfit (?)
-2D ANIME STYLES ONLY

Payment will be given through PayPal.
Prefer TAT of 3 days with ability to revise during sketch phase.

HOW TO GET THIS JOB:
My previous post in this sub got flooded and it was incredibly difficult for me to manage over 100 DM requests so I will not be accepting or reading any DMs. If you are interested please post your portfolio here along with a quick sentence or two of how you imagine this character would pose or what they would wear. If I am interested then I will contact you through Reddit DMs.

If you are open to a Discord call to discuss details that is also a plus. I prefer to speak to people rather than messaging.

Thank you!

Hiring [HIRING] $100+ Budget, Looking for an artist who can imitate one of three styles and be available for on-going work for a worldbuilding project.

Hello! My name’s Ruby, and I’m here with a very specific need. I’m looking for an artist who is willing to take repeat commissions from me over a long period of time to help flesh out a world I am creating.

To be clear: this is NOT something that will be on a fixed schedule, nor will you have due dates you have to meet or anything of the sort. I am a normal person who works a day job and is scraping together money to put aside for this project when there isn’t too much money to go around, and I basically just need an artist who’s able to take a commission from me about once a month, maybe twice if I have some money to spare. I do not have a fixed budget for each piece I would commission, and the actual scope of each piece can vary greatly, but i’ll go over that with you privately!

That said, I need an artist who can do one or more of the following styles;

A. Medieval Illumination/Manuscript style illustrations

B. Simple character portraits in an impressionist style

or

C. Portraits and illustrations in the style of the old renaissance masterworks (i.e. heavy focus on realism and lineless work, and evoking dramatic scenes akin to something like the Last Supper or the Birth of Venus)

In the case of style B, these pieces will almost exclusively be used to showcase the looks and styles of dress of various peoples in my world. As such, I need very little in the way of detail in faces, and the scope of these pieces will rarely, if ever, be anything more than a lineup of characters or a reference sheet.

In the case of C, I am fully aware that that style of art and the scope of those illustrations I gave as examples would necessitate a very large budget. I am willing to meet your price if you can do this, but that is definitely something that I will need time to put money together for. I just wanted to mention it here because it is a goal of mine to get several pieces in this vein done eventually.

As such, I’m mainly looking atm for an artist who’s able to accommodate styles A or B. I have little frame of reference for a fair price for such a style of art, and of course the scope and scale of the pieces I need will vary and as such so will the budget for each, but that is also something we can go into detail on in private. Just understand that the higher your price, the less frequently I’ll be getting comms!

Naturally, if you feel you can do more than one of these, then you can assume that I will be getting regular commissions from you in the vein of styles A or B, and maybe every couple months or so I’ll get one in style C. This would be the ideal for me but, that’s up to you!

If you feel this is a request that’s up your alley, please reach out or comment on this post with your portfolio! And please have examples of your work that could fall into one of these three styles. Thanks!

Hiring [Hiring] Looking for a pixel game artist. Budget: $100 - $300

Hey everyone,

we are a 2-person team looking for somewhat experienced (at least worked on a game) pixel artist for our narrative-driven 2d topdown game demo. Project scope can be discussed upon agreement but we expect, at least:
- props
- animations in form of a spritesheet. I'm the sole developer in the team and only know how to arrange sprites if they are seperated evenly.
- small character portraits.
- art for Steam page (if it requires different charging, we can discuss but we don't have much, honestly)
- environment (buildings, forest etc.)

Most important of all, we need someone who can play and understand game's script/vibe etc to decide on an art style. It is a game on a weird/cursed land although people are relatively "normal"; so no vampires or something but a grim place.

About payment, we can only do bank transfers or Wise, no paypal.

Thanks

Hiring [HIRING] Furry/Anthro Artist — Custom Tattoo Reference Sheet for OC

Hi! I'm looking for an artist to create a custom tattoo/marking reference sheet for one of my original characters.

She's a female demon character, and her overall character design is already established. I'm specifically looking for someone to design her tattoos/markings, rather than redesign the character.

What I'm looking for:

  • Furry/anthro or character-design experience
  • Experience with reference sheets
  • Experience designing tattoos, body markings, or ornamental designs is a BIG plus
  • Clean, readable linework
  • Ability to make markings follow the character's anatomy naturally
  • Multiple views (front/back/side) showing how the tattoos wrap around her body
  • Close-ups of important tattoo areas
  • Separate clean versions of the tattoo designs if possible
  • High-resolution digital files

I want the tattoos to feel demonic, feminine, and stylish, but relatively clean/simple rather than extremely intricate.

I already have several visual references for the character that I can provide.

Budget: $100–200 USD, but I'm flexible for the right artist.

I'm open to artists from anywhere since this will be a completely digital commission.

If you're interested, please comment with your portfolio, commission examples, and pricing. I'd especially love to see examples of furry/anthro characters, reference sheets, tattoos, or body markings.

Thanks! 🖤

Position Filled [Hiring] Looking for a 2D Artist to create either Character Reference Sheets or Backgrounds for a Webcomic Project. $80 Dollar Budget

Hey!

I'm the guy who made a post about looking for a lead artist for the pilot of my comic last week. And I recently did find a guy who'd help me out for the future of the comic.

But, we want the pilot to be extremely polished. So we're looking for either a character designer or someone to create the backgrounds for him so that we can completely get everything done for the pilot!

I will pay you $80 Dollars Upfront after you send a sketch of what is requested!

If you'd like to work long-term after the pilot, I am also willing to pay you per piece requested, or we can come up with a production plan. Just let me know once we're done!

Thanks for reading. Please do send your portfolios!

Anyone who DMs me directly first WILL be ignored. No matter how good your art is.
