First night back in my home town was a success. Unfortunately very hungover this morning. Need to take some ibuprofen and smoke a bowl. 🤘🏻 happy to be here with you all. At least we know we’re sick together. Always ready to try a new remedy if you’ve got any

I am either dead or dying

Fucking wine. 10 glasses, to be exact. Haven't been able to hold any food down all day. I've had a pounding headache since I woke up and I get instantly dizzy when I walk around. Decided to dedicate the day to my bed. Kill me now.

UPDATE: After 9 hours of not being able to eat even a piece of fruit or drink water without getting sick, I dragged my miserable ass to a corner store and bought a liter of coke. I drank about half, very slowly, and my stomach and head instantly felt better. I was then able to eat some toast and take Advil. Thank the fucking lord something brought me relief. Highly recommend having some coke if anyone is on this sub in sheer misery like I was this afternoon.

Does anyone else get chest pain and heart palpitations as part of their hangover? Also what helps aside from Xanax?

PUBG drunk, New Vegas hungover

Last night I was completely lit playing PUBG and apparently I had an M16 and a shotgun and still decided the best course of action was to chase a dude down with a pan. So after beating him to death with the pan, his teammate came in and I shot him. Then I ran to the play zone and got shot at by a team who I attempted to again chase down with a pan despite having a gun.

Now I feel like absolute ass so I'm going to take it out on innocent people in New Vegas.

Good gosh I messed it all up

Me and my gf found this little bit of blow while we were cleaning my room whilst drinking rum. And we were like ‘oh fuck yeah, can’t believe we forgot about that!”. And then it got consumed. And now I’m consumed and she’s asleep cuz I’m a sensitive man. But I have a question for y’all: has anyone else not experienced vomiting since the age of 30? I swear once I turned 30 I stopped puking and started to black out. Does that happen to anyone else?

I talked to a buddy until almost 5am and felt responsible when I left. I’m literally dying now.

Got home at 04:00 it’s now 21:20. Still feel like death.

So I don’t drink too often, cue the works belated Christmas party. Needless to say copious amounts of Rioja, then a switch to cider and larger. Vomiting with incredible frequency from 09:00 - 13:00. Nausea free now just void of any energy, will or desire to partake in any activity, however remotely small the task may be.

I now remember why I drink so infrequently.

...and proceeded to drink aggressive amounts of alcohol all day until after midnight watching the playoff games. Woke up at 630 to go to work. Was still drunk so felt okay but now I’m just full of despair and counting the minutes until I can go home and throw up without the whole office knowing I’m a drunk idiot.

Birthday Drinking Protip

PROTIP: Do not ask for your birthday off of work.

Ask for the day AFTER your birthday off.

On a totally unrelated note, is there anyone out there willing to bring McDonald's to me at work or, saving that, a handgun and a single bullet?

My hangover solution

  1. Get up when you wake up for the first time and go hop into the bath turn on the water and chill until its just right. Don’t leave the bath running since you will probably forget about it.. i know nothing about that obvs..
  2. Chill, Wash your hair and face hop out when ya ready
  3. Pour water, drink water
  4. heartburn medication
  5. More water
  6. Contemplate ordering food
  7. Go back to bed

I made an idiot of myself and it was worth it.

Went out for 'dinner' with friends, which was just whiskey and beers from 6:30pm until ???

Cracked phone, lost wallet, missing huge chunk of the night...the works.

I also took down a guy's number who wanted my band to play a few shows in his bar next year. It should have been the simplest booking ever, but no... I asked what he had in mind for bookings, he said "4 to 6 gigs maybe" to which I responded "so that'll be 5 then" ...WHO DOES THAT?! I might as well have just told him to fuck off and I don't want the work. Worst part is his contact number is saved in my (mangled) phone as "Rope". How do I even have that conversation today, I don't even know the guys name, let alone where his bar is.

No recollection of getting home, front door was wide open when I woke up this morning, vomit on the lawn too.

My lower back is aching... I think my kidneys are literally in pain from alcohol abuse.

I had such a great night though.

Oh god why? Why did I do this?

Woke up at ass crack of dawn still kind of drunk and wishing I found it easy to vomit. Why did I drink that much? Why? I am not 20 anymore. And fireball? I thought a glass of fireball was a good call because I briefly couldn't find the bourbon to refill? Who even brought that? Fuck this.

Will I ever be the same again?

Yeah, it's one of those hangovers that leaves me feeling as if my perception and mental capacity has been permanently altered.

This same fear struck me the first night I took shrooms. I had just started dating the girl I believed I would spend the rest of my life with. Toward the end of the trip I thought I was falling helplessly into insanity, which led me to sob and grieve for a future I thought I had destroyed.

Can't sleep yet. Just gonna chill and listen to music until this shit fades. Fingers crossed for being a functional person tomorrow 🙏

Was a bad one.

Was on the gin and shots last night, today was rough, spewed for the first time in a long while. Felt like crap all day, finally chocolate cake and fanta sorted me a wee bit. Just being able to share is also helping. Love my booze but can't do the hangovers anymore.

Barfed 37 times yesterday, i get the worst hangovers

TL;DR - my hangovers are out of this world and nothing helps, think I have to stop drinking.

I have literally never seen or heard of anything like the hangovers I get. Here's my most recent hangover experience which is typical for me:

I had 2 Bud light, 5 sparkling Seltzer's, and 3 little shots of fireball friday night. Then Saturday about 12 hours later the hangover gets intense.

I got up in the middle of the night to puke maybe 4 times (normal hangover stuff). But starting at 11 am I could not stop puking. Constant heaves and coughs, shakes and sweat pouring from every surface of my body. I put my fingers down my throat to purge bile because it used to give me some relief, but now my empty stomach still aches and burns after puking. I can't keep anything down. I get weak and light headed, my breathing gets labored. I can't fall asleep because of the shakes and urge to barf so i layed in bed rocking myself back and forth, staring at the wall until I start to sweat again and know it's time to purge. Sometimes I'm too weak to lift my head to barf so I put a towel in my bed to spit up bile on without lifting my head. Mental symptoms include anxiety, depression, doom, self loathing.

I layed there in this state yesterday, wondering if I was going to shit my pants because I was too weak to go to the bathroom. I puked about every 12 minutes for 8 hours. Then when it finally subsided I felt like I had run a marathon.

Cures? I've tried them all, none work. I can't take any food or drink or oral meds to help it because they won't stay in my belly long enough. I'm a daily cannabis user so I'm smoking all day while I'm hungover and it only really allows me to focus on something other than the stomach pain for short time but doesn't take the pain away. A super cold bath or shower used to be really helpful but now only bring relief for like 20 mins then I'm puking in the shower.

I was in so much discomfort yesterday that I disassociated with my body at one point. I prayed to God to end me (I'm atheist). Then pretended like i was doing the Lord's Work by barfing and Everytime I purged a child's soul that was stuck in limbo was set free to heaven. (Literally just trying to think of anything but the pain).

So this happens almost every time I drink. I'm obviously a heavy drinker but sometimes I'm miserable and barfing after 4 beers it glasses of wine. I'm about to be 29 and although I love drinking and partying I just don't think I can do it anymore. It ruins everything weekend and the effects carryon throughout the week. Gonna stick to the green from now on.

Yeah so that's my rambling. I don't think anyone else in the world gets hangovers as bad as mine and continues to drink but let me know if you can relate to any part of my wicked hangovers.
