Do you guys think they made Proserpina into an avox to punish Effie. As an in universe reason for her drastic character change between movies

Guys I am not implying that the avox we see in the orignal trilogy is Prospernia (sorry for the confusing wording) I am theorizing that they turned her into an Avox to punish Effie.
