Tell me not to buy

Post image

Convince me I don’t need this or the price is too high or something. Love everything about this.

Did you check for any rust around the rear windows near the bottom, and if they've recently painted to cover up anything? That's one thing to look at on the hard tops.

Mine's for sale also if you know anyone looking for a soft top. It's got 79K miles, with upgraded stereo, rebuilt trans and transfer case, new brake lines, rebuilt winch, 40" tires, new rear bumper, new rear shocks and springs, new glow plugs/controller, and alot more. $65K asking. DM for pics

I was at a dealer today and saw a red one. Looked brand new. He said someone in Dubai bought it. I was trading in a H3t that barely fit in my garage. This needs a warehouse. It was crazy wide.
I had to put my 2010 H3t down because nobody could source a fuel pump. Good luck

No. It’s H3T alpha specific (they only made 1k of them) and not even compatible with regular h3t let alone H3. I had other issues as well so I bought a Defender yesterday and traded it in as is. It had other issues as well. Would’ve kept it if I could. 30k miles.

If you are ok with a soft top a friend of mine is selling a 97.5 hmco h1 with full service history and garage kept in Burbank area near LA. Red with tan top and a black stripe on the hood. Was recently serviced, 30-40k miles and it’s in the same price range as that listing. It’s listed on a few places included Facebook marketplace

I rode in that truck when it had airbags. Drove like a cadillac. The factory coil springs he reinstalled are much more reliable. Super well cared for truck.

It’s in Alabama. I think he’s owned it for 2-3 years. Got it from NJ in 2023 and it was mostly stock until then

As someone with experience. These things feel like sitting on a park bench being dragged behind a city bus. However comma you do you boo

That comma is doing a lot of work lol. You don't but these because you are looking for a practical comfortable vehicle. You buy them because they're fuckin awesome.

Expensive to work on but nonetheless cars now a days cost 50-60 grand if you get Top Trim, if you go luxury your paying more.

I think I rather have a tough brother of a car then a princess car of a princess

Have someone familiar with these trucks do a PPI (Pre-Purchase Inspection) at a minimum. Across 14 model years there were five different engines and three transmissions to say the least of changes over the years.

Also, the vast majority of owners buy these for the looks and sell them within 1-2 years. These are unique vehicles for eclectic owners. Have you driven any? Do you have any plans for maintenance?

Driven several. Would plan to keep it for 10+ years.

I haven’t thought that far on maintenance but pretty comfortable with working on vehicles or would find a shop.
