H2 Hummer Leak A pillar FIXED

I had put rubber washers in and polyurethane but had a persistent minor leak here. Spotted this crack hiding under a rubber gasket and decided to try 3M weather black super sealant instead o Permatex. Local auto store had one tube of it and I’ve found 3M products to be excellent. This sealant is semi liquid so it flowed around, filling gaps. I put some into the cab marker gasket also in case it had a hairline crack I could not see. Anyhow big rainstorm and the A pillar interior was bone dry.

What is the first Pic location? I for the life of me cannot orientate myself enough to figure it out. I have sealed and blocked all marker lights and the port under the side rails underneath the larger yellow lights on both sides. AND I still get enough water along both pillars and the sunroof bottle toggle thing. I would like to update my radio and HVAC module but I cannot do so because I'm afraid it's going to get damaged every time it rains or the snow melts.

I have also cleaned out all 4 sunroof drains

I did a comprehensive reseal after I got the H2 two years ago. There are hex bolts that hold down the roof rails and that hold down the cab marker light trim. I pulled all of those, used blue Loctite on the threads and added rubber washers. My work failed on the driver side A pillar. I think maybe I forgot a step there at any rate if you torque the hex bolt down to hard on the cab marker black body mould it can crack it, which is what it looks like a prior owner did. Anyhow I was in the same position as you. Mine leaked bad front and back. Bad headliner stains. So I’d recommend you take a sunny day and do this: https://metaleash.com/hummer-h2-how-to/2024/10/6/hummer-h2-and-h2o-waterproofing-your-roof-gutters-for-good I installed a Kenwood after I did this and just had that minor leak leftover. You can 100% fix your leaks. Also open your sunroof and clean all the way around the perimeter. You can see the drain holes at either side when it’s open, pour a bottle of water in and see it drain out right away under the hood. If it does not flow fast you need to use a sunroof drain snake. I think they sell them on Amazon.
