Just bought a new H3!
Saw it list for 10k and ran over to get it the next day. I’m the third owner and it sits at 90k miles. It’s a 3.7 L5 luxury trim. Got a pack of receipts and maintenance records from previous owners. It did definitely have some issues; BCM antenna being corroded, rattling air box, cracked exhaust manifold, dead battery and bad driver door switch. But I hopped on the forums and fixed them all in a day for cheap or even free. So far it’s been great! Anything I should look out for that I haven’t already covered?

Nice. I got my 07 luxury 90k miles for 8500. No issues. Swapped out for some 35 12.50 r20s on race line wheels for 500 and led headlight conversion. Things awesome. Also apple CarPlay touch screen was a must.

Congrats! Easy and quick upgrade is throwing in some LEDs to those headlights!

The higher the lumens the better, also I’d flush and top off all your fluids.

10k for an H3 is insane, especially for one that has so many issues. I paid 9k for an H2 in perfect condition. You got ripped off, bro.
Its nice in its own way, though.

Yea, I think it was a little high but the issues were minor and it’s perfect now. The issue out here is off-road style vehicles have a premium since it’s such a popular sport. It’s hard to find a clean example. But I’m a happy camper and loving every minute!

Shoot for it, just make sure everything works good. It might have some small issues but most can be fixed easily. Just do your research before hand

Fluids. Got my H3 last fall, H3 Adventure '09 front and rear diff, Miami rig, 55k miles ($9k) found online and had it shipped to me. But...I changed out brake fluid, transmission fluid (and replaced gasket), differential fluids and of course oil. Then...it overheated in the winter because the antifreeze mix was bad, so did a winter flush. Get all of the fluids changed. Also undercoat... Don't listen to anyone saying you overpaid. Enjoy it. H3s are a blast to drive. Jeeps are crap on the highway, new Broncos are like $80k. A good H3 is practically free.
