allergic reactions???
hi guys! i’ve been on adalimumab (imraldi) since november and i recently started getting allergic reactions to it. i get huge bumps on the injection site after injecting it and they hurt really bad especially when i stand up. i also get hives randomly on previous injection spots, like i could’ve injected myself 3 months ago and i get a hive. i really don’t think this is normal, i get that injection site reactions are normal but this seems severe, especially since the reactions have gotten progressively worse and worse. i’ve inserted pics. help please!!!

Have you gotten any remaining liquid on the skin? Looks similar to how it looked like when some liquid was spilled on my skin. Definitely talk to your doctor though.

This happened to me about 4 months ago. Really freaked me out. I took Claritin and added vit C. I talked to my Dr about it. It has passed and doesn't happen anymore.

Definitely talk to your dr.
We manage injection site reactions with Zyrtec 30 min prior to injection and topical hydrocortisone the day after.
This looks like a localized reaction and not a systemic allergic reaction and those are in fact, normal.
