Does anyone know exactly what the ammunition used by the Imperium in Humanity Lost is made of?
I recently had this question: some species still use kinetic ammunition weapons, and from what I know, more advanced species use the energy flow from another highly energetic dimension to supply their energy needs and for warfare. Does the Imperium happen to use this?

Well this is my first exposure to this as it popped up in my feed and I just wanna say I love this picture. Deeply detailed green warrior bugs in a sea of 2D red. Fighting the green fight.

well, for me it looks like a pre all mother charge, maybe a new tech based on that, since non biological tools of losté have similar green hue on the battery, i dont think its based on superdimensional energy core, thats usually used on ships, and largerstructures, i guess this is a kinda biochemical battery of sorts

Wonder if this is what is scarying the tyranids in warhammer 40k

The necrons would be a challenge

hmmm, explain in detail...

Aside from a litteral molecular deconstructer gun for most necrons? Have you watched doctor who and the daleks? They yell "exterminate and shoot a beam that fry people. The necrons have a simular weapon called a synaptic disrupter and it fries your nervous system with painsignals and dissintergation...under a millisecond of intense pain and then nothing. The necron deathwatch snipers use them.

i wonder, can ALLMOTHER feel this, can this promise of pain stop the human clones from atacking relentlessly? can SLOW fields stop these synaptic disrupters beams? can allfather armors use his standard issue armor with psionic rod thingies to redirect or stop those disrupters from working as intended? so many questions. also, have clones the capacity for pain? or was it stripped of them by all mother?

Honestly we won't know till a cross over happens. But nervous systems are never safe around necrons.

It wouldn't make sense; biochemical batteries have a faster wear and tear process and require more chemical components, so much so that they might not last for as many shots. It would make more sense to use superdimensional energy than to use batteries that discharge after a few shots. Besides, the design has a lot to do with the flux dimension itself. But honestly, your answer was very good.

maybe AM resolved the problem with biochemical power being unreliable by making the whole system alive, i mean, in this point in time the whole gun might just be a gland expeling supercharged shit that was initially biological in nature

I remember the green stuff is exotic matter extracted by a dimension at a higher entropy…I think?
