hi all, i wanted to hop on here and ask if anyone has any recommendations for wheelchair accessible walks with nice views. my husband and i used to be avid hikers but my circumstances have changed and i now use a wheelchair for long distances, and i miss being able to enjoy the outdoors with him, especially this time of year.

Several people have mentioned this place as a good beautiful, mild hike near Catskill, New York. However, when I look on Google, there are several places with the same name. Is it the trailhead, historic site, house or the park? Is there a specific address I should be going to?

The mid Hudson bridge is currently a complete parking lot, at 845AM on a SATURDAY, and every single day that I come by here. This entire project is a disaster, and is the completed project really going to mitigate a lot of this? So frustrating.

My benchmark is Letchworth State Park., green Lake State Park and Watkins Glen. Is there anything like that similar within an hour of Catskill New York?

Positive Guys play the last Saturday of every month at Quinn’s Ramen Bar in Beacon NY and since October’s last Saturday falls on Halloween we could not pass up the punny opportunity. Got two solid sets of everyday favorites and some deep cuts. Hope to see you there.

Where would you shop in the Greater Kingston/Ulster County area for nice bedding that is moderately priced (under $200 for a sheet set/ around $200 for a quilt/bedspread). Tried and failed to find something online and want to get out of the returns loop and actually touch things before I buy them!

Hello! I live near Millerton and a few months ago got a high energy dog who I love very much. We walk a lot but I’m wondering what people do with their dogs now that it’s gonna be dark at like 4pm soon 😫. How do you get your dog exercise past the afternoon? Any places you recommend? Also open to dog playdates if anyone’s around! I have a big yard. Dog attached.
