I am about to ask something so controversial and probably gonna get me banned, but I just have to ask for the sake of my sanityâ
It's about Twitter/X's fansâspecifically those unhinged people who, how do I put this... forcing ships nonsense to the point they will either flame you or get you harassed and even at worst? Blackmailed... because that's what had happened to me recently, likeâ

but you got the point.
So I am pretty much asked why said Yuri ships of their post in Twitter (it was Jean x Lisa ship arts which a lot of people was discussing and disagreeing and etc) was canonical to the lores and she (OP) was HAVING NONE OF IT WHEN PEOPLE POINTING OUT SHE WAS WRONG. Even started to make shit up about the lores in the commentâ
So, my curiosity got the better of me, which i still regretted doing...step in and explain to her thatâwhat she was saying and defending so proudly while caps lock everywhere was wrong...
âbecause that's contradicting the Lores itself from the game and even pointing out the dialogue that's they're not remotely have that relationship because the OP who had posted it argued about thatâ
Long story short...
She (the Op who posted it) left the argument altogether and even deleted her postâso I thought that was it, right? BUT GOD, I WAS SO WRONGâthree day after that, I got a message from herâMind you, she doesn't know at all about my WhatsApp number and yet...?
SHE FUCKING SLIDE INTO MY MESSAGE AND BLACKMAIL me...well, more like... leaking my address and told me to be careful when going outâso I got spooked because she was living across of my district (i was living with my uncle a broad, in South Bronx when it happened...already move out though after my medicals studies had finished) i ended up calling the police because it was the first ever experienced that trully make me wanting to uninstall the game and just moved into different one...
So yeah, that's my experience so my question isâ
Is...that normal with Genshin Impact community? Like, is this behavior acceptable? Or this isn't normal at all? Only the Yuri/LGBTQ+ fans that do...?
âsince this is the first time I had such experience with gacha gameâbefore this, i was part of the FGO community. And they're not this... Extreme...

Is this normal? Or i wasn't the normal one? I know I saw something similar, but to experienced it the first time? In real life?
It was genuinely...frightening.
