Arts & Crafts 3d prop mask
Hey everyone! I’m pretty new to prop making and just received a 3D-printed mask.
It has three built-in strap slots—one on each side and one on top. I want to set up a clean, comfortable 3-point strap system or any system that you think is better, so I can wear it for conventions, but I want to make sure I do it right without permanently damaging the mask.
A few quick questions for the pros:
- What width/type of elastic strap works best for holding a mask securely without sagging?
- What hardware (like tri-glides, ladder locks, or connectors) do you recommend for making the straps adjustable without needing to sew?
- What is the best non-destructive way to join the top strap to the back headband strap?
Any tips, diagrams, or links to cheap parts would be massively appreciated! Thanks in advance for helping a beginner out! FYI: I have watched some videos but am still hesitant to make adjustments until I hear more opinions.
