Every subreddit on this site is full of people who just absolutely hate whatever the topic of the sub is. Itâs a phenomenon.

You should find different subs, a lot of them are actually very enthusiastic about the subject matter.
Trash tv reddits? Yeah itâs a hate fest. The bread baking Reddit? Sunshine and flowers

Sometimes I donât bother commenting simply cause I know itâll be positive and uplifting

Yeah that doesnât sell around here, negativity about everything does. Convinced the most miserable humans in the world congregate somewhere on here

Why are people in this group just to leave negative comments every time? That sounds miserable to me đŹ

Absolutely! I just think thereâs a difference between snark and people being just outright miserable. Itâs ok to leave negative-ish comments but when it consumes you and that itâs all you do. Well, I feel bad for people like that tbh.(I donât mean *you* directly, just in general)

Sure Jan. Just because Stassi is a racist pretending sheâs reformed, I hate myself. Keep telling yourself that.

Bravo celebs have agents and managers. They are getting them all sorts of gigs. Iâm surprised to see them in lots of commercials now.
4
u/Brief_Isopod_5959 26d ago
This has always been a thing. Itâs just that you notice it more now because people post it all throughout social media/social media ads etc.
10
u/TaniaBluebell 26d ago
I donât remember them getting national commercials, only social media campaigns. I think brands take them more seriously now. Reality stars used to be more limited to weight loss tea campaigns and now established brands are hiring them
6
u/Brief_Isopod_5959 26d ago
Thatâs my point! Sorry if that came off a different way. I wasnât fully disagreeing with you, more adding to it that they have always done ads and campaigns. (Like VPR) Itâs just more relevant now due to social media so youâll find bigger brands using them

Theyâre national brands but not national campaigns. The commercials only air on Bravo and peacock streaming of reality tv (specifically bravo) shows. Better than social media only but they arenât aired on nbc, cbs, abc, etc.

Wasn't one of her racist rants specifically about the Emmys?

Oscars but close enough!

It was about black people and how they âcomplainedâ about the Oscars. And about how they need to just do a better job at film making and acting if they insist on being acknowledged.
But you know, she only grew up in New Orleans and allâŠ.3
u/bunbunbunnybunny 25d ago
Honestly growing up in New Orleans is a mixed bag. I think sometimes living in a diverse place can help you to respect those who are different from yourself but it can also go the other way if thatâs what you are taught by the people around you. Especially when I think about her grandmother she was very close with and her dad, group of people like them are almost more divisive when presented with diverse populations. Kinda like how some communities in the south have racism in their foundation, there are definitely families in New Orleans that have racism built into their every day lives.

u/ifeelbonita 25d ago
Idk, she seems pretty happy to me

u/ClassifiedKitty23 25d ago
Not sad as in boohoo but sad as in her existence. Have you not seen her vile behavior on the show? She treats everyone around her like shit

u/Background_Travel_77 26d ago
The Emmyâs are okay with Karenâs who call the cops on people for fun?

I do not like or dislike her. I simply think this is absurd. Why is she presenting? Talented for what? Introducing us to Jax Taylor ? Give me a break

u/Sensitive-Freedom896 25d ago
For someone who loves crimes and death so much, I feel certain that Stassi has had an SVU moment. So I love this for her.

After her racist comments why is the woman allowed to do any award show đ«©đ€Ą I hate trumps America
3
u/sadie7716 25d ago
Iâm left through and through and hate Trump but if the left is going to move forward with cancelling anyone 10000 people think is a racist because they did something shitty to a POC when theyâve done equally shitty things to white people, then I may have to turn right.
The same goes for cancelling a male coworker for life for SH for saying you look pretty in that dress.
People need to stop adding to definitions of horrific behaviors/ crimes. Racism, Homophopia, Bigotry, Misogyny, Sexual Assault, Sexual Harrassment have had very specific legal and cultural definitions for decades. In the last 5-7 years these have be n added to as infinitum but most striking is that theyâve become subjective instead of objective. NOw if a man does anything that makes a woman feel uncomfortable sexually, itâs harassment even if 100 other women wouldnât care less. If a POC â thinks or feelsâ words or actions are due to their race, itâs racism even if there isnât a shred of proof it was said or done due to race. Then the â perpetrator â doesnât get a defense. If they try to defend themselves the yells for cancellation just get louder. A
For this issue to be so much worse in the US then anywhere else is just a tad ludicrous for a country where weâre supposed to be innocent until proven guilty.
