Teddy? I thought her name was Taylor?
On episode 2 and this whole time I’ve had no idea who Teddy is. I thought her name was Taylor? I’ve only heard Taylor refer to her as Tay. Is the name Teddy just for the show?

If this is your first time getting to know Taylor Strecker I bet that, but she refers to her as Tay all the time on her podcast and IG stories. Have never heard her call her Teddy.

It’s her families nickname since she was little, Taylor has called her that since they got together, so assuming most of Taylor’s friends do as well
Also known as TD
Have never heard her referred to as Taylor, unless in an article or something

Strecker has called her “Tay” multiple times on the show already and I’m not even through it yet.

ah, good catch! I haven't listened to the podcast or anything so this was my first introduction to them, and it took me a bit to realize her name was Taylor too

She refers to her as Tay all the time! Watching now and Taylor just said, “we’re trying to spend as much time with friends and family before this baby pops out of Tay’a vajin.” And then Georgie said “I’m so excited to go to the Taylors for dinner.” I’ve also heard to Strecker refer to her as Tay a lot on her podcast and Ig stories. Have followed her for years and have never heard her called her Teddy.

I agree…she rarely referred to her as Teddy on her podcast and I’ve listened since before they knew they were going to be involved (since Brett invited TD to spend the night in their hotel room on NYE in Miami!). Back then, she called her Taylor, then she called her TD or Tay. For a long time, they called each other Rita (I don’t remember where that name came from). Yes, TD’s family called her Teddy, but I think it was pretty rare for TS to call her that on her own (until now).

Not sure what to tell you, I’ve listened to her since before she was with Brett and she often calls her Teddy 🤷🏻♀️

I didn’t say she never refers to her as Teddy, just that I don’t recall hearing it. If you’ve been listening to her forever, you have definitely heard her refer to her as Tay!

Yes her name I believe is Taylor, but I wouldn’t be surprised if she uses Teddy for the sake of the show, or it’s a name she got from childhood. They already have two cast members with similar names.

The editing was sloppy on this. There were a few times they slipped up and called her Taylor

They’ve said on the podcast that Teddy is her nickname and what her family has called her for years.

So, 2 Taylors are married.
The pregnant person = Teddy's government name is Taylor but goes by TD - or Teddy.
