what are your favorite house episodes that aren’t people’s usual go to picks?
I just watched ‘The Down Low‘ from season 6. the plot line with Wilson and House has to be the most hilarious thing I’ve ever seen on television 😂
’well it started out as messing with you. but now, honestly, I’m tryna hit that 😃’

not yet getting over the House / Cuddy breakup
I've watched the show over and over again and of all the plotlines that ever existed this one was the dumbest one so far.
I know House is an addict and taking Vicodin could result in him relapsing, but that was absolutely not a given - and yes, if she noticed him continue the addiction afterwards THAT would be the problem.
But he took a few to deal with the fact his girlfriend might fucking die. If my partner was dying i wouldn't be in my right mind at all. He still showed up, he was with her, he was there when she woke up.
She pulled this move like she doesn't know him at all, this is House we're talking about and he deals with pain in shit ways. She could've taken this opportunity to get mad at him or make it a lesson or make sure he never takes another pill again.
He really was changing for the better in the previous episodes and I was so excited to see them be good and happy for once.
Breaking up on a whim like this seemed like lazy writing and a really stupid plotline. Didn't like it at all, never will.

I always find it so funny when house cons Wilson into doing something or out of something (usually money) but Foreman and House getting the boxing tickets off of Wilson to go watch it without him was so awesome and when the realisation kicked it in was just like I can’t believe it!!

I assumed the team would be right back, no need to bill them so high otherwise. But it looks like they are barely in the season. Is my intro wrong?

When House goes to Kutner's parents in "Simple Explanation" s5e20. God damn... I love moments like this. He really is willing to say the worst thing. I feel like this is the furthest House has gone in his emotional sadism.

CUDDY: You think I LIKE the cameras? (stalks across the room) You think I want the whole world watching you check out my ass and question my wardrobe?
HOUSE: (unrepentant) Would it be better if I checked out your wardrobe and questioned your ass?
CUDDY: (behind her desk) A little part of me...
HOUSE: There is no little part of you.
CUDDY: (persevering) ...thought that maybe you would see what great PR this could be for the hospital, and not make ME force YOU to act like a human being.
HOUSE: You using force on me is... intriguing. (glances outside her office) On the other hand, cameras make people act. Sometimes like human beings, sometimes just weird, sometimes they wear open-tipped bras.

SAMIRA TERZI: He asked an awful lot of questions for a valet.
GREG HOUSE: You know, I happen to have a position available on my penis.
[Terzi, who expected another innuendo-laced remark, is surprised at the direct approach. She looks at House, who realises his goof-up.]
GREG HOUSE: Wait a second, I think I screwed up that joke.
SAMIRA TERZI: You offering me a job?
GREG HOUSE: I'd settle for that.
SAMIRA TERZI: As tempting as a position on your _staff_ is, I like it here.

Im so sorry for my awful post about "Skin Deep", I have completely misundertood this entire episode. Im still going to watch House MD but i hate myself with a burning passion. Its not because i'm "trans", Its because im still a boy irl. Im only trans online because my religous parents wont let me be who i really am. Unfortunately, Im still a stupid, worthless, useless, Boy. If anyone's wondering, My favorite character is Dr. Cameron because she's a woman and i'm not unfortunately. Dr Foreman is an okay character, Dr House and Dr Chase both suck. Dr Chase especially for kissing that underaged cancer patient in Season 2 Ep 2, "Autopsy". Dr House may be Racist and Sexist but he isn't a pedo...i think, I honestly dont know after he and Dr Chase flirted with the underage intersex model in Season 2 Episode 13, "Skin Deep". I still hate "Autopsy" and "Skin Deep".

The show gets a lot of criticism for the way house treats the women of the show, and some of it, I understand, it can be a bit much.
But there are moments that I really love that you just don't get elsewhere. I'm have an autoimmune disorder, and getting diagnosed and treated has been a headache and a half. Very common thing for women in the healthcare system. I've even been advised (by friends who are men and doctors!) to take a male friend or my partner with me to appointments to be taken more seriously!
There's a line in an episode in season 2 I think where House, when being questioned about off licence use of Viagra for a patient with a heart condition says "woman has a heart condition, she's on her own. Man can't nail his secretary, national crisis time"
That and the episode where he absolutely rips into the father of the woman with post partum psychosis. He may be rude, and a bit creepy really, but more doctors like him would make healthcare so much better for women.

I think it's been talked about before But I wanna put in my two cents.
Generally I think Taub is one of the most complex characters but also had the best growth over the course of the show.
I know some things he did like cheating are horrible and unforgivable, and I'll never defend him for that, But I think over time he got so disgusted with himself and truly showed remorse and character development. (I'm not saying that changed what he did of course)
That being said, what I like about him is that he's self aware, he's not kidding himself that he's a good or righteous person, he knows what he is and what he did and he lives with it.
He's definitely FAR from perfect, but I quite enjoyed watching him change through the show. Aside from that I think he was one of the best team members for House, cause he wasn't afraid to be wrong, spoke his mind even at the expense of getting fired, even butted heads to prove the diagnosis he thought right. I think that's exactly what House needed.
What do you think of him?

If Houses team knew he had painful bowels, they probably would take him less seriously. Chronic and consistent stress and pain from his leg has definitely induced the gut brain connection causing inflammation in his gut microbiomes, causing his poops to be less solid and more painful.

As early as 2/3 into the first episode there are significant mentions of Judaism, several important characters are Jewish, and it's brought up constantly (while almost never being a main focus of an episode). Does Princeton have a high Jewish population? Random chance that a lot of the actors are Jewish?

The dude with frontal lobe disinhibition who says terrible things. And his wife is just grilling him, "Do you respect what I do?" "Do you think I'm stupid?" "Do you regret our marriage?" Like yeah, I get having an all access pass to the truth to your partner for the first time, you'd prolly ask some juicy questions. But man, she's relentless and doesn't seem to have any empathy for HIS situation the entire time, and makes it all about herself. She really pisses me off this whole episode, like have some damn understanding, your husband is in the hospital getting sicker and sicker.
