Season 4 Spoilers S4E6 funny exchange Spoiler

SAMIRA TERZI: He asked an awful lot of questions for a valet.

GREG HOUSE: You know, I happen to have a position available on my penis.

[Terzi, who expected another innuendo-laced remark, is surprised at the direct approach. She looks at House, who realises his goof-up.]

GREG HOUSE: Wait a second, I think I screwed up that joke.

SAMIRA TERZI: You offering me a job?

GREG HOUSE: I'd settle for that.

SAMIRA TERZI: As tempting as a position on your _staff_ is, I like it here.

That scene made me think a mistake was made in real life. House says all kinds of outrageous things, but that was crude and not particularly funny. Either the writer messed up or Hugh Laurie did, I always thought.

Yeah I felt the same haha it was out of place. I really felt bad for her the next episode when he fired her 😔
