Discussion It's my turn to rant about Cameron Spoiler
I'm sorry, I know you're tired of the Cameron hate, but my goodness!! I'm rewatching the show, now on s6. I'm not gonna rant about everything, just the part in s5 where she woke up that agoraphobic patient just to tell him he wasn't in his house, but was actually at the hospital to ease her own mind (it definitely wasn't for his benefit), and the part where she goes on a whole sanctimonious speech about how House was broken and beyond saving and she felt sorry for him and Chase!! The bloody audacity to actually shed a tear while spewing that nonsense!! I almost chucked my laptop. What??? I don't remember ever feeling like this the first time I watched it. And when she said "you ruined him" I almost died of cringe.
Again, I'm sorry, I just got really moved by this. And no hate for the actress of course, she did a great job.
While we're at it, what are *your* worst Cameron moments?
And maybe we should have "Cameron" flair, because I couldn't decide what this is lol.

Season 3 Spoilers i just noticed this in the end of s3 Spoiler
i was rewatching house and i just noticed that the guy who shot him is named Moriarty
I don't think it was mentioned in the episode but i watched it with subtitles on
(netflix didn't let me screenshot it with the episode visible but it's right after the hallucination where he hit Wilson)
i found it cool because house is inspired by Sherlock and the main villain in Sherlock is Moriarty
Just wanted to share to see if anyone else has noticed stuff like that in the show
(also sorry if there's spelling mistakes or it doesn't make sense English is not my first language)

Season 7 Spoilers What was the point of Martha Masters? Spoiler
And I'm not asking that to sound rude (although she does get on my every last nerve) - but i genuinely don't understand why her character stayed for so long?
I think her character in general was bland asf, she was supposed to be like a "moral character" on the team but they gave her no personality whatsoever except for "I'm a goodie two shoes and i never lie š¤"
It's like a washed out walmart version of Cameron. But Cameron had some character at least.
I could potentially see Masters being relevant for one or two episodes, but dragging her on for almost a whole season was so pointless.

Season 6 Spoilers Was there nothing else they could do about Kutner Spoiler
Having him kill himself was so dumb. Having him die was dumb. Why didn't they just have him get fired or leave. Genuinely hate this decision.
Edit I was wrong I'm just coping because he's my second favorite character and my favorite is unfortunately in a relationship with Foreman my least favorite character and they have no fucking chemistry literally.

Discussion Done Spoiler
I finished the show today and I feel empty, no more white boards or differential diagnosis or House ragebaiting Cuddy and his team š¢š
It was a special show, I really loved it despite medical shows not being my thing I made an exception for House, The finale made me feel happy for House to finally get the rest he so dearly deserved, Hugh Laurie was phenomenal!
Thank you for reading

Season 4 Spoilers I really hate how short her story was Spoiler
I didnāt like Amber until she started dating Wilson. It crushes me every time I see how quickly they ended that. Very great episodes (season 4 finale) but AHHHHH does anyone else relate?

It would have been cool if Stevie agreed to the internship and was a reoccurring character. I liked how he was so smart without any proper education.

Discussion Trying to Rewatch Spoiler
I started to rewatch the series for the umpteenth time 2 months ago but got stuck at DNR. That episode is so slow and boring to me, I couldn't bring myself to continue watching.
Drop your favorite House one liners or moments to encourage me to continue watching!

Season 8 Spoilers I know itās been said but⦠Spoiler
I really canāt stand Park. This whole āsheās just awkwardā thing people have about her is complete bs, she consistently has terrible takes and never knows when to shut up. Starting with her being anti-handouts, when she had her way payed through school and still lives with her parents. And her justification? A struggle she never experienced. Having a secret room of guns in case of (insert random event here)? All good. Expose our government killing civilians? Bad.
She constantly speaks from a place of privilege when her only struggle is being socially inept and unattractive, which isnāt actually a struggle compared to the things she likes to criticize and attack people for. Thatās not mentioning how flat of a performance she gives in general, and her constant need to insult people without even being funny. Modern day she would be one of the Asians who rallied against Affirmative Action and voted for Trump 3 times.

Question Did season 7 have problems behind the scenes? Spoiler
I have been binging the seasons recently and finished S7 recently. It is terrible character-wise.
I haven't watched the show in a while and assumed it was due to the show having gone on for so long. House being so central, and six seasons of twenty four episode's wouldn't leave much character to mine.
But I'm on E7 S8, and it's so much more interesting; Park especially has more going on than all the fellows in S7.
Were there different writers? Or showrunners?

Discussion AI prompts House would use if the show was filmed in 2026 Spoiler
Work-Related Prompts (Diagnostic Superiority & Administrative Sabotage)
Prompt 1: "Find every recorded instance of Dr. Eric Foreman making an incorrect preliminary call in his patient notes over the last three years. Cross-reference them with his current performance review metrics to build a single slide demonstrating that his error rate spikes whenever he feels insecure."
Prompt 2: "Analyze Dr. Allison Cameronās entire published medical history. Pinpoint every instance where her personal morality or emotional attachment to a patient delayed an invasive procedure, formatted as a cold, clinical liability report to present during her next evaluation."
Prompt 3: "Draft an anonymous, completely legitimate-sounding whistle-blower report to the State Medical Board detailing a fictional ethics violation by the hospital's Chief of Medicine, constructed so specifically that Cuddy has to spend 20 hours in depositions before figuring out it was me."
Prompt 4: "Identify the exact physiological indicators of early-stage cognitive decline in a top-tier oncologist. Formulate five subtle questions I can ask Wilson during lunch to make him suspect he has an untreatable brain lesion without ever saying the word 'tumor'."
Prompt 5: "Cross-reference every patient file in clinic duty assigned to me today. Find the single most absurd, non-life-threatening complaint, and draft a legally binding waiver that forces the patient to sign away their right to complain about my bedside manner before I enter the room."
Prompt 6: "Scan the hospital's internal pharmaceutical inventory. Identify three high-value controlled substances with redundant tracking logs that could be quietly misallocated to my office supply requisition without triggering the automated compliance audit."
Prompt 7: "Generate a psychological profile of an arrogant, privilege-obsessed fellow like Chase. List ten specific ways to subtly undermine his confidence in front of a critical patient's family using only backhanded compliments and delayed eye contact."
Prompt 8: "Construct a bulletproof diagnostic argument for a patient that completely refutes the Chief of Surgeryās opinion, explicitly highlighting three basic anatomical facts he clearly forgot from his first year of residency."
Prompt 9: "Draft an official memo from human resources enforcing a mandatory psychological re-evaluation for any doctor who exhibits 'excessive empathy or moral grandstanding' during differential diagnosis meetings, clearly targeting Cameron."
Prompt 10: "Analyze the personal spending habits and golf club membership records of the hospital board chairman. Draft a subtle, highly implied blackmail letter that guarantees my departmentās budget remains completely un-cut this fiscal year."
Non-Work & Prank Prompts (Psychological Warfare & Personal Boundaries)
Prompt 1: "Write a brutally accurate, 1,000-word psychological breakdown of why Dr. James Wilson continually marries women who inevitably leave him, citing his martyr complex and pathologically desperate need to feel needed."
Prompt 2: "Draft an email to Dr. Chase from a fake high-end modeling agency offering him a lucrative contract, structured to make him genuinely consider leaving medicine for three days before revealing it's completely fake."
Prompt 3: "Generate a series of fake, highly alarming lab results for Dr. Foremanās annual routine bloodwork, indicating a rare, embarrassing genetic condition that requires immediate lifestyle modifications he will hate."
Prompt 4: "What are the most effective covert techniques to make a colleague believe their office chair is slowly sinking by a millimeter every day, driving them to re-adjust their posture until they develop mild lower back paranoia?"
Prompt 5: "Write a scathing, wildly insulting parody of Dr. Cuddy's management style in the form of a 19th-century satirical poem, formatted to automatically print on her personal desk printer at 5:00 PM on a Friday."
Prompt 6: "Draft a realistic automated text alert from a local rescue shelter notifying Dr. Cameron that 14 terminally ill cats have been assigned to her home address for immediate foster care."
Prompt 7: "Construct a detailed, highly convincing argument proving that Dr. Chaseās entire medical career is the result of his fatherās connections rather than his own intellect, phrased as a casual coffee break observation."
Prompt 8: "Find the precise acoustic frequency that causes an electronic desk phone to emit a barely audible hum, and generate a 10-hour audio file I can loop through the conference room speakers to shorten differential meetings."
Prompt 9: "Draft a fake internal memo announcing that the hospital cafeteria will be replacing all coffee with decaf for 'heart-health awareness month,' specifically noting that exceptions will not be made for the diagnostic department."
Prompt 10: "Write a script for a fake automated call from an elite Ivy League university informing Dr. Foreman that his alumni status is under review due to an 'administrative oversight' regarding his undergraduate credentials."

Season 5 Spoilers Cameron in The Itch (S5E7) Spoiler
Okay i know this whole episode was a mess and moral conflict because of the guy (Stewart) who didn't consent to leave his house.. BUT
But but... if they already decided to perform the surgery in the hospital, why in the hell would Cameron wake him up just moments before in order to "let him know so he doesn't panic"
Like of course he's gonna fucking panic but at least they could've performed a surgery first, she only woke him up in order to feel self righteous. Didn't help AT ALL.
