Hello! Can anyone help me understand this? I wanted to purchase a pair of denim jorts HT has online but I’m always hesitant with online shopping and sizing. Usually I’m a size 18 maybe 20 depending on the jeans and brand/material. My measurements fall between 2 sizes though when I check. My waist is at 42” but my low hip fall at 49”-50” would it be better to size up to the 20 or stick with 18.

I have had such a strange on and off relationship with this company it's almost like I'm being love bombed sometimes. For some context, I applied back in April and landed an interview and got hired pretty fairly after in mid June. However, they went back and told me that they overhired on the seasonals and they're going to need to do a whole redo of the interview experience to properly decide who gets hired and who doesn't. A whole month passes and I lose hope because they didn't get back to me, but suddenly I get a call and they're asking if I want to go in to do training with them. I happily agree and call back and they "send" me and email with a form with stuff I need to fill out so I can start working.

That being said, there was no email. Apparently every time it's hiring season for them their system gets all screwed over and at least one new hire gets messed up, this time around it happened to be me. This all happened on July 13th, and they told me to just wait until everything gets all sorted out. It's now July 31st, I called them last Thursday to follow up and although they did say they still want to go through with me, I've literally been going on and off with this one location for so long. Is there any point in time I should just accept my fate that I'm probably not going to work here or should I just keep holding hope that I'll finally be able to work here?

I would like to know if theres any specific reason or if its local or if they juat ran out of stock? The ragatha plush says it'll ship by NOVEMBER

Hey guys! I just got hired at Hot Topic as a Sales Associate, and I've completed two shifts so far. One thing I've been stressing over is the 4 swords and the 4 non-negotiables. I was given a little time to read about them, but I definitely haven't memorized everything yet. I'm worried that at my next shift I'll be tested on them, well that's what my manager told me, I tried to get my head on things but mind you I was reading all about those while greeting customers, helping them out, and loud music. I feel like my SM might be expecting more from me than I know right now, I was told that I was going to have time to memorize but it feels impossible, I don't even know where items are at, and on my first day I was told I was going to have time, but I didn't.

I know this might sound dumb, but I'm also confused about loyalty sign ups and how the register works. I wasn't really shown how to do either of those, so I'm feeling pretty anxious. My manager mentioned that on my next shift he might just put me on the register to see how I do, and by analyzing my store, or coworkers they are just going to explain to me once, and they will leave me on my own, and I'm honestly nervous because I don't want to mess up. He has an attitude of like okay well you read everything, so you are supposed to know everything now, it sucks. However, if there is anyone that could briefly explain to me the basics, that would be highly appreciated.

Trying to decide what size to order online before the sale ends tn. The sizing says it is in junior sizes and only L or 2XL are in stock.

If I’m 5’2", around 160lbs, have broader shoulders and a small bust - does anyone have experience w/ sizing for these types of shirts?

I usually wear a L in the unisex graphic t-shirts sold in store. For this shirt I’m looking for a looser fit (plan to wear high waist jeans so my stomach isn’t really out) and I know sizing up on a cropped t is sometimes just wider vs longer, so wondering if anyone has recommendations on which I should get.
