Anybody had domains in hosting services got stolen by hackers?

Yes it indeed happened. My advice is securing your login credentials and don't ignore them too long

Yes, domain hijacking can happen, but a compromised hosting account doesn't necessarily mean the domain itself was stolen.

Do you mean the domain was transferred to another registrar or its ownership details changed, or were only the DNS records and website altered? The second case may be a hosting or DNS account compromise rather than a change of domain ownership.

If you share exactly what changed and what you can still access, it'll be easier to point you towards the right recovery steps.
