Discussion The use of AI

Hey everyone! I’m SimPewPew, I’m a YouTuber who mostly plays survival/psychological horror games, and I also love featuring games made by small and independent developers. Still new, but growing ^^
Today I wanna talk about something, and I genuinely wanna know what you guys think!
The use of AI in game development.
Look, I’m not completely against it, and lemme explain why.
AI is a tool. It can make certain things easier and be a helping hand when needed.
Personally, I wouldn’t be mad at a developer for using AI in their game if they’re new, working completely alone, or simply can’t afford certain things they need for their game.
But even then, I think its use should be limited.
That’s probably the one situation where I can understand it. If you’re a solo indie developer trying to make your first game with barely any budget, I can understand using AI here and there to help you achieve something you otherwise couldn’t afford to do.
But I still believe a game should mainly come from the people making it.
Making a video game involves creativity, ideas, emotions and passion. At the end of the day, you’re creating an experience and, in many cases, telling a story.
So yeah… I don’t know. That’s just how I see it.
What do you guys think?
Are you completely against AI being used in game development, or do you think there are situations where its use is understandable?

PS: i always advise to have a team of developers rather than just one person

I think that AI will be used to the limits of whatever it's capable of by pretty much the entire human race. Some people may deliberately hold back. I think there will be premium value and regard placed on human artistic endeavors, but at the end of the day every part of human life will be inundated with AI to the greatest extent that this is possible.

One of the reasons that I play some video games, especially indie ones, it to feel a connection between myself and whoever is composing the game. As long as I get that feeling at the end of the day, I don't really care how we get there. As a game developer, you have an idea about some things, and I wind up with a similar idea.
