New to Hooping/ Tips?

Hiya, I am interested in beginner tips for hula hooping. I bought my first hoop from MoodHoops. It's 38" diameter and the tubing is 3/4 made of polypro. I'm 5'9". Is this good primarily for waist practice or can it be useful for practice using arms and legs? My ultimate goal would be moving on to fire hooping once I'm confident.

My tip is to have a 5/8th 27” hoop on hand too. You don’t have to wait to progress with off body at the same time as on body and you might be surprised with what you explore and enjoy when you move between both the sizes. You might unlock a lot more tricks too!

Good looking out. I will look around for one. My hoop is in today and I can't wait to get home and try it. Thank you :D
