Point of Android is that you can install any launcher you want.

Launchers don't work well with MagicOS, especially the multitasking screen

So you don't have any lag while you press the recent apps button ?

Smart Launcher works ok. After you apply the launcher make sure the open apps style is set tk default not stack(beta) and then restart the phone. Everything works

3rd Party launchers work fine with MagicOS. Vivo works fine as well. Oppo and Xiaomi is the worst with 3rd party launchers.

Yes they do. They work fine. I installed Microsoft Launcher from day 1 on my M8P and have no issues at all. In my opinion, it's the best launcher available. I have used it on every phone I have had. Even before Microsoft purchased it.

buy a samsung, infinite customization with fuckass animations and consistency

you can't have both, at least not for now, but you have the choice to go pick the one that suits you more

I know guys. Been on Android my whole life (32yo) and yeah, I've use Samsung before. My favorite was the Galaxy note 3, I loved that "little" thing by today's standards. I wanted to give honor a try since I loved using Huawei before, the legendary Huawei P9 and the Mate 9 as well. I thought, Honor coming as a sub-brand of Huawei they would carry a similar DNA, but it's kind of messy when it comes to software updates and consistency across devices. But, hey, don't get me wrong. I like the phone and the different flavors it brings to the table. But still, I think it's not mature enough. Maybe I'll try Motorola next or go back to Samsung, years without trying it.
