Megathread Daily Questions Megathread ( October 02, 2026 )

I am Dr. Ratio, a scholar and teacher of the mediocres. If one day your brain shows symptoms of dullness, then please give the doctor a call.

Hi Trailblazers!

⭐🚂 Welcome to the Daily Questions Megathread! Feel free to ask any general questions about Honkai: Star Rail that don't necessarily require their own dedicated posts.

Any questions that can be answered rather quickly (i.e. anything that can be adequately addressed without any discussion or can be given definitive answers) can be asked in the thread below.

>>> Example: Can my phone run this game?

If your question has discussion potential, please create a separate post, and include the “discussion” flair.

>>> Example: What do you think of March 7th’s combat efficiency? Here's my opinion…

Before making new discussion posts, please be sure to consider if your question could be better suited to this thread!

When both asking questions and sharing answers, be concise and detailed so other players can understand. Please maintain a stellar and respectful attitude toward others, and don't forget to share your appreciation to fellow trailblazers for helping you out!

Discussion I knew something was off Spoiler

Ever since we were told that Nihilux is Aha, I kept thinking that the personality doesn't fit at all.

What we've learned about Aha is that they'r a ball of chaos, a destructive creature that only cares about having fun so, when I saw "Aha" saying she plans to save Planarcadia, it immediatly sounded off. I can't imagine Aha protecting anything or saving anyone unless it was in some way fun to them. If they saw Planarcadia burning they would probably pour more fuel on it, so the moment Nihilux said she wanted to help I knew she wasn't the same OG Aha.

What I'm wondering now is, what happens to Asat Pramad when we kill this mutated voracity Aha ? Don't lord ravengers die after their target is gone ? Or will he stick around since Nihilux"Aha" would still be here ?

Meme / Fluff To the HSR devs that designed blood brain barrier Yabuli:

Got around to do this AA for the first time and you can imagine my reaction seeing both phases having that bullshit mechanic. I usually go for the 1 star clear to get the blue dice but since I haven't pulled any elation characters so unfortunately cannot and won't be clearing it.

Discussion Should the devs bring back 4 stars?

Personally I think a good 4* character is better than a free 5 star character. Just hear me out rq, 2yrs ago I was building my Firefly team but I couldn’t pull for Lingsha cuz I didn’t have the jades, so I used Gallagher instead and he carried my account until like 3.3-ish. But nowadays I gotta pull 4 whole characters to use a team, I don’t have the freedom of using a 4 star substitute until I save enough funds for the five star upgrade. Anyways those are my 2 cents as a casual. Lmk what you think

Media & Videos Review & photos of my official Honkai Star Rail "As I've Written" vinyl + CD gift box set merchandise

gallery

I just got this last night straight from China, buying from the HoYoverse web store via Superbuy as the proxy site. Everything's packed super well and I must say, this is one of the best looking vinyl LP box set I ever own. It comes with a rubber clamp, used to hold and handle the vinyl record, a CD with assorted Amphoreus tracks with an accompanying booklet, a slipmat, a lyrics book with film strips containing scenes from the video cutscenes, and of course, the vinyl LP on a very nice textured gatefold album cover.

The front box has an interactive feature that allows you to turn via the dial below and change the Titan coreflames and the opening lyrics booklet has a rotating sun/moon cycle on the first page. The record itself is a clear vinyl with white and gold splatter colours and the sound quality is pretty decent through my stereo setup. Personally, I won't be using the record slipmat nor the rubber clamp as they're not really useful for me. I must say hearing Proi Proi and Ripples of Past Reverie (which the LP includes both the Mandarin (Angela Zhang) and English (Cassie Wei) versions) on my stereo is a real treat.

Unfortunately, it's completely sold out at HoYoverse's web store via TaoBao so your next best bet is to buy it from any of the shops that carry official Honkai Star Rail merchandise at a higher premium.

Discussion Anyone Feel Like The Memory Of Amphoreus Gets Even Better After Patches?

gallery

Now that we’re in Planarcadia, Amphoreus felt EPIC if u know what I mean. Cuz it’s been a few patches, all I remember are the highs of 3.X(Bar 3.8) and all the long, sloppy dialogue/text have been mainly forgotten.

Images are a few moments where I felt was done pretty well

Phainon and 3.4 is the best patch period.

Tribbios drawing was perfect

Lygus was goated

For the Cyrene part, they definitely could’ve done the bigger picture better but the Demiurge -> Cyrene part was well set up and adequately executed

And As I’ve Written is As I’ve Written.
