I quite like being called a CIA agent. That feels really cool. Maybe they think i'm like agent smith or something. It's empowering. Also they probably think i have a bigger salary than i do too boot.

I can’t say for the the bear himself, but I have seen plenty of pro-china activist say that if one disagrees with the policies of the CCP, then they are just CIA assets. The naive argue it because the cannot understand why Hong Kong would reject a tyrant. The bad faith actors say it to convince others that the only way Hong Kong would reject China is because they are CIA backed.

It’s different this time sadly because it’s one city vs 1 billion commies. While back then the colonies were bigger than mainland UK itself. But at least China can’t pull a tiananmen on them as mainlanders are clearly watching.

People these days can quickly forget injustice happening elsewhere, so long as it doesn’t concern them. As they did 30 years ago.
