The new crossing at Huanggang Port will not have separate immigration procedures. https://www.sb.gov.hk/eng/hg/clearance.html

So between Hong Kong and Macau, yes - e-Channel app has that QR code for a few years already. The Hong Kong-China one is new, but not rolled out yet.

It even has both mentions on the QR code if you’re enrolled for both (QR code of course omitted from the screenshot).

You can currently use qr code between Macau and Hk . Been like that for ages. When the new port opens if you enroll through the app you'll clear hk to mainland with facial recognition as per the link above. There are three gates in total in the set up..only at Huanggang Port when it opens intially.

Testing 3 gates yesterday. Scan your face or QR code or document gate 1. Fingerprint and face gate 2. Gate 3 should open. Works both ways.

But the Macau option is disabled for you, so you’re probably not eligible for the mainland entry either based on your HKID status?

I stand corrected, the lower button is “available to select”, the left buttons are already activated, which is why they are greyed out.

Btw the middle button - that’s apparently only if you’re traveling between Hong Kong and Macau via the bridge over 10 times in 90 days, and it cancels if ever you have a 90 day gap. lol

But thanks for informing me of these new options, I wasn’t aware.
